What is your usual price for this?

  • Hello,

Thanks for the quick response! Normally it's $10 installed.

    Kind regards,

    Erick

  • Is it a glass one or a plastic one?

    • Hey Tuzii,

      Great to hear from you.

Just confirming, it is a plastic screen protector.

      Kind regards,

      Erick

Lol, installed? Maybe applied would be a better word.
Do people actually pay you $10 to stick a 33c piece of plastic on their phone?

    • Hey AngryAlfred,

Thanks for replying and I appreciate the feedback my friend.

      Kind regards,

      Erick

You're welcome, thanks for ignoring my question.

        • Hi AngryAlfred,

My apologies. Just to clarify, it is part of our standard service and gives consumers peace of mind when installing or applying their screen protector.

          Kind regards,

          Erick

        • @Trinity Connect:

Just to clarify, it is part of our standard service

So, you do normally charge $9.67 to apply a 33cent plastic screen cover to a phone.

The bargain here is that you will now only charge $1.67 for this "standard service".

    • you also need to understand that some/most people dont know the true costs of a screen protector, i know heaps of people at work who have spent $20+ on a screen protector that they also had to apply…..

      • Hi Tuzii,

I perfectly agree. I have paid anywhere between $10-$20 for a screen protector. Our standard price is $10 and we are hoping this promotion is going to introduce our retail store to new customers :)

        Kind regards,

        Erick

      • i know heaps of people at work who have spent $20+ on a screen protector that they also had to apply…..

Perhaps they were glass screen protectors? Otherwise, where do you work that employs such morons?

        • glass ones ive heard they have paid upways of $40…….
you should probably go and check those phone shops in your local shopping mall

        • @tuzii: I've paid $20 on glass screen protector on eBay for tablets (and around $5 on Aliexpress for my phone). It's so much cheaper online.

        • @AznMitch:
not everyone gets things online though, some people walk into a mall and goto the first phone store they can find.
so im comparing the retail experiance here, not the "i can buy it online for $5 and wait 30 days"

        • @tuzii: That's sadly true, some people pay the premium and buy them offline. My tablet one took around 3~5 days btw. It was Australian stock.

        • @tuzii:

you should probably go and check those phone shops in your local shopping mall

          I have done that.

  • Plastic Screen Protectors. Local Australian sellers, with free delivery. 10cents to $1 via eBay.

Tempered Glass Screen protectors. Local Australian sellers, with free delivery. From $1 each via eBay.

This bargain is for a Plastic Screen Protector being applied by the seller. If they did not apply the screen protector to the customers satisfaction, no doubt they would replace the protector and try again.

I guess if you needed a screen protector, and were going to West Ryde anyway, (and were as bad at applying screen protectors as I am) this would be a bargain.

Slightly reluctantly, a Positive vote from me.

After experiencing half an hour of frustration to put my cheap plastic screen protector on my phone twice, I have to say I would pay $2 for someone else to do it for me, as long as it's a good job, i.e. no bubbles, no dust. Pity they are too far for me to go and try out the service. If anyone knows such a service in Melbourne, please let me know.

agreed, worth it if they do it well and you hate doing it yourself :)

dust is pretty much impossible to be completely rid of when applying, my trick is to roll up some sticky tape to dab and remove it, it takes time but eventually you can have it on perfectly.

  • @Trinity Connect,
How long is the deal valid? I live in North Shore, so I can come only during weekends..

  • Hi,

I recently bought a screen protector for the back and front of my Iphone 5s, and I was wondering how much it would cost for application?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    • Hi Dan,

      Great to hear from you!

Please bring iPhone 5S and both covers to our West Ryde store and we'll fit in both for $2.

      Kind regards,

      Erick

  • Do you still have this running? I have a Moto x 2nd Gen that I am looking to get a screen protector for.

      Erick
