This is a great model. The detail is amazing. There is a four cylinder engine inside the bonnet.
The boot opens to reveal basket and some food in it. There is a manual gearshift and steering wheel. The seats have nice tartan pattern on it. The wheels roll, and you can play with it.
The whole car is just very beautiful…
Is it just me, or does that NOT look like real Lego?
I remember Lego as hundreds of little blocks that you made into appropriate shapes, not prefabbed shapes like this kit. Yes, its a nice looking car, but can I also make a building or spaceship with it too?
Call me old school, but give me my Lego Technics car with moving engine, steering column, and reclining seats anyday.
It's not all about realistic looking models that couldnt possibly make any other object, its also about creating something and using a little imagination (without it looking like a miniature replica).
