      So I just received a response to my Support Ticket:

      Please contact XBL support and request activation date from they, after they answer, send us a screenshot of the full transcript, they can send it through email.

      From what I can see the only way to contact Xbox Support is via phone, forum post or twitter - since phone is out of the question, and I don't have a twitter account, I guess I'll have to post on the forums.

      Pretty disgraceful, going to have to neg this deal.

        theres an online chat function that I used to obtain this… not before giving these knobs an absolute spray for making the customer do their leg work when they sell defective merchandise though

        Checked my email and they sent me another serial open it up and guess what? It is the exact same serial as my original order!! Don't they check what they are sending to customers. Really poor effort

          Yep, exact same thing here too - code they re-sent was the same as the first that didn't work.
          I've reopened the support ticket and requested one that actually works.
          This place is a complete joke.

          This is the exact same thing that happened to me. Starting to think its more company policy than ineptitude. Otherwise they just use the same E-mail to reply but don't remove the attachment.

    Not happy bought 2, got a receipt, they took a whilst to come through, but that wasnt a problem, but BOTH said the code had already been redeemed, and then when i was looking through my bank they had charged me $80.12

      Mine ended in 2439.

      I sent another ticket telling them they have one more chance or else give me a refund. I also mentioned that they are not endearing themselves to the OzBargain community!

    Update on mine: Got the "we'll give you a new key immediately" line but there was no new change so I replied again and opened a PayPal dispute. "We can't give you a new key while you have an open dispute." Absolute crap. I immediately raised it to an escalation.

      They still haven't gotten back to me about the second duplicate code that they gave me. I was wondering how long I should wait to open a Paypal dispute… they've stuffed me around enough and I've wasted enough time on this already. I never thought I'd be one to fall for the old bait and switch but I guess there's a first time for everything.

        If I haven't got a new code by tonight then I will lodge a dispute with PayPal. Seems strange though that some people have received a code with no problems at all.

          yep that's the only reason why I haven't lodged paypal dispute yet: if it worked for a whole bunch of others, here's hoping the half-dozen or so that have posted here are the exception(s) not the rule

    So the whole sorry saga comes to an end.

    Got a new code also after contacting support last night. Now i'm getting an xbox error code.

    My second code worked fine. Took bloody ages to get a response though. Neg revoked, but I don't know that I'll be dealing with this company again.

    Got a response to my ticket about 23hrs after lodging - they did send a second XBL code that I was able to redeem successfully

  • Ffs they charged me too much and sent me dud codes… I told them I wanted a refund and they gave e store credit instead!

    • If you paid by Paypal - open a dispute in its Resolution section!

  • FFS! They sent me an email to say my ticket has been resolved. Try and sign in only to discover they have deleted my account!

  • Paid via visa, gonna speak to my bank and the merchant

  • PayPal have informed me they have given a refund. Just have to wait for the funds to clear.

    What a drama this has been!

    i finally got a working second code yesterday… i know to avoid this company

  • Tried to redeem my code and got, code already redeemed. Opened a ticket with them last night, reply email this morning saying my ticket had been updated and when I follow the link to their site I can't login, it tells me they have locked my account.
