DoA 5 PLUS for Vita appears Free to me in AU store

    • +6

Receipt says it's the trial version

      • -2

        This.

      • +3

Same for me. Pretty frustrating. The store page says nothing at all about a trial or a demo. In fact, it says this is a special price and it was previously AU $54.95.

Unless it really is the full game, I'll regret claiming it - really don't want another item cluttering up my download list…

      • +2

Fez is doing the same. Only the receipt shows it is a trial. Argh!

Come on quite a few of these are cheaper on US PSN. Omega Quintet is $40 cheaper on the U.S. Store.

  • Is it possible to create a playstation store account without owning a PS4 ? Ie, can we signup and grab the strider freebie, and then when I do eventually buy a PS4 strider will be available to me?

    • I don't know for sure but I'm guessing you only need an account, which you can create online. I'm a PS+ subscriber (I have a PS3 and a Vita) and I've claimed the free PS4 titles every month, even though I don't own a PS4.

When I eventually get around to buying a PS4 I'll have a bunch of games all ready to download :)

    • Yes, you can just go to the Sony PS Store website to create a PSN account and buy any game you want. You can even sign up for PS+ and start acquiring all the free games.
Top right corner "Create Account": https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-au/home/main?cid=battlef…

Once you buy your PS4, you just need to add your PSN account to your new PS4 and it will list all your games on your account available for download.

Edit: P/S we personally prefer the US PS Store for cheaper games and better deals overall. AU store does have the rare deal every now and then.

Didn't we already get this game free a few months ago for PS+?

No disrespect to the OP. I appreciate the effort of posting.

    • Yep, probably why I never noticed it was free.

  • +8

It says Strider is $11.48 for me. Maybe Strider wasn't supposed to be free and they fixed it recently?

    • +1

Yep $11.48 (50% off off) for me also. Looks like it was an error that's been fixed.

    • +1

      yep same here

  • +1

I don't think strider was free at all because it says "free" for me because like the OP I have ps plus and I swear it was a ps plus free game a while ago.

Also they labelled my Ni no kuni free which I paid 20 bucks for a long time ago but never played lol :(

    • +1

I think you're probably right. It was definitely free on Plus close to PS4 launch as well.

    • +1

I don't have playstation plus and it was showing as free. The receipt said it was full game but i haven't had a chance to download it and test it.

  • can you suspend your ps plus membershop ?

    • +1

You can stop paying when your sub runs out, and start paying again when you want it.

  • Not free. $11.38

    • -1

      Sigh.

      • -1

Awsam is right, it wasn't free as advertised & OP has since amended the deal listing as such.

        • -1

          Awsam is right

I'm sighing at the fact he seems to think it's a reason to neg.

          @Dagmar:

          How is it not?

The guideline for negative posting is literally to let others know about issues with the deal, merchant or product. The deal was listed with an incorrect title, wrong pricing and listed items are cheaper elsewhere - as almost everyone else in here also commented on.

        • @infinite:

Alright, mate. The deal was legit when posted and Sony has fixed up the pricing error. Not a reason to neg.

Read this from the Voting Guidelines

          Inappropriate uses of negative vote

Any negative vote that falls into any of these reasons will be revoked by a moderator.

          • Incorrect or missing information in title or description

The information was correct at the time. Sony have since rectified their error. The OP has since been corrected so as per the guidelines, no neg was ever needed.

        • @IceCreamBandit:

          As per Voting Guidelines:

          Appropriate uses of negative vote:

          Cheaper price elsewhere

The neg was following guidelines. Listed deals were cheaper at the US store, as posted by others too.

  • When logged in says already purchased….dunno how and when?

    • +1

      dunno how and when?

It happens. I bought Omerta: City of Gangsters three times without realising it and still haven't played it. One copy was even a 4-pack.

  • I suggest to change title to PS4 only.

    There's nothing for PS3

    • There is for the Vita though.
