      If you look at their promo pictures in the link, that woman is doing it all wrong. 1st rule of cutting sh*t is not to stick your finger out like that.

      • I don't know about anyone else but I didn't notice any fingers in that picture… because who on earth has kitchen cupboards like that with nothing in them?!

    Discount the gloves and would buy a pair, since buying those Wursthof knifes, well cuts happen, a pair of these gloves should be with every set of ultra sharp knife set.

    Free eBook is not a bargain in my opinion here

        • +3

          @shadeaustralia:

          Yes they are, level 5 blade cut, same as yours

          In fact I'm struggling to find your other scores (Tear Resistant Rating & Abrasion Resistant Rating)… Any info there Rep?

        • +3

          @shadeaustralia:

          Gone quiet Rep?

          What are the Tear Resistant Rating & Abrasion Resistant Ratings? These are required for a EN388 certification

        • -1

          @Spackbace:

          Resistance to abrasion: 4 (out of 5)
          Blade cut resistance: 5 (out of 5)
          Tear resistance: 4 (out of 5)
          Puncture resistance: x (not applicable)

          I hope this will satisfy your doubts and you will take back some of your comments.

          Thanks

        • +2

          @shadeaustralia:

          It took you 4 days to give me information which should be freely available on your site and on your Amazon listing, and also should be on your packaging.

          So no, I won't take back any comments because you obviously have no idea of what you're selling!

        • -1

          @Spackbace: This product comes from US and we received it today and all the information is displayed on the gloves packing we just reselling it.

        • +2

          @shadeaustralia:

          we just reselling it.

          So rather than just being a simple drop-shipper, how about you know your product?!

  • +2

    Was hoping this is made of metal chainmail. Would match up well with a metal chainmail armour suit :)

  • +2

    sorry OP have to neg you - does not belong here, not a bargain!

    • +1

      No Problem. Thx

  • +4

    Neg because:

    • Gloves have been same price since Mid-June, complete with free e-book, so this is just normal price
    • Rep can't provide other details of the EN388 Certification, nor is it on their site listing, seems a bit fishy to me
    • -1

      http://www.cutresistantgloves.org/ - Everything is here if you need more information about them they are one of the best selling gloves and a Good Product - This is 1st time in Australia we selling this brand which has been a best seller on Amazon for a while and 1700+ 5 star reviews which means something.

      EN388 Level 5 rating

      Performance standards for cut resistance in Europe are measured using the Couptest. In this test, a circular blade moves back and forth across the sample material under a fixed load of 5N/500 grams while rotating in the opposite direction of linear movement. The Couptest indicates how many times a cut must be made in the same place before the sample is damaged. A level 5 rating means the material can withstand at least 20 cuts to the same spot.

      • +2

        Why do I need to go searching your many sites for 2 simple numbers… why can you not provide these?!

        http://www.anselleurope.com/industrial/index.cfm?pages=eu_st…

        EN388:
        The ‘Mechanical Risks’ pictogram is accompanied by a 4-digit code:

        a. Resistance to abrasion: based on the number of cycles required to abrade through the sample glove.
        b. Blade cut resistance: based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed.
        c. Tear resistance: based on the amount of force required to tear the sample.
        d. Puncture resistance: based on the amount of force required to pierce the sample with a standard sized point.

        These performance levels must be prominently displayed alongside the pictogram on the packaging which immediately contains the gloves.

        Go look at the box/packaging and just tell me 2 numbers!

        • -3

          Awarded with EN388 level 5 cut resistance, meaning they are four times stronger than leather - what else do you need to find out before you buy :-)

        • +2

          @shadeaustralia:

          For about the 3rd or 4th time, the other 2 numbers required for a EN388 certification!

          That has to be displayed on the packaging!

        • +2

          you seem to be avoiding the questions here, very shady sounding business. if you can not supply the relevant info on your en388 claims you should simply not be claiming it. simple as that really.

        • @nosdan:

          Resistance to abrasion: 4 (out of 5)
          Blade cut resistance: 5 (out of 5)
          Tear resistance: 4 (out of 5)
          Puncture resistance: x (not applicable)

          I hope this will satisfy your doubts and you will take back some of your comments. e.g shadyseller
