This would of been a good deal a few months ago but now its just a normal price now for 40".
The Sony KDL40V5500" Full HD, 100Mhz, Contrast:100,000:1 plus free Blueray player can be haggled down to $1250

Looked at this TV in George St, Sydney

Doesnt look too bad next to a Samsung series 6 which is twice the price

Seems pretty good considering its less than the Kogan. However Aldi does have a 46" with 3 year warranty for $1299.
