  • yeah, got this one ages ago for around this price at JB after bargaining.

it is a great speaker, if you press that Phone button, Siri come out and greet you. ;)

Sounds is quite decent with good bass and treble, mid aren't bad. I love this.

Got mine with the X2 for $199 last December.
Damn good speaker, better value than the bose.

    • Since when is Bose the value benchmark?

      • Since alot of people have said the soundlink mini is… i quote "so good" (nothing but lies)

        • Yeah, Bose is the Apple of the hi-fi world - big on marketing, not so much on value. Only impresses those who shop by the brand and don't compare products side-by-side with the competition.

I bought a Philips Fidelio AS851 (discontinued) a couple of years ago for a bit over $100 I think. That thing is so mean it can rock the entire house with surprisingly good sound quality. It's also a nifty Android dock and came with its own remote control. I haven't seen anything since then that can come even close to it at the price.

Got this for $119 from OW last time, good quality for the money

  • How does this compare to the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio? If anyone has both.

    • What about this compared to Logitech UE Boom?

      • In terms of the HK? I've owned both the UE boom and the HK and the HK in my personal opinion absolutely destroys the boom. However it is also 3x the size haha.

        • hihihi..

My first wireless speaker was MINI JAMBOX.. I found the sound was a bit to soft so I got Soundlink III. Reckon that was a bit to heavy to bring on holidays and also not water resistant, so I got BRAVEN BRV-1… Just recently reckon UE Boom had a good nice and good reviews so I got it too.. I would like to have one nice looking and powerful speaker in my living room so I waiting for HK 2 on a good price… lol

What I also found it funny is that all my 4 speakers are in this review… hihihi

        • @Lone star: The UE boom is awesome for holidays as it is small and has clear sound (not the best bass however). It also has water resistance and a good 10+ hour battery.

        HK > X7 > X5 > Boom. IMO.

  • Bought the Sony-SRSX11 for $69. how does this compare? Looking at it 10w speaker and 12 hr battery life in a small unit seems to tally up
