  • Price in Title..

  • All done :)

managed to buy one of these http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/sandisk-extreme-64gb-u… during a recent sale at $39.95, brilliant and worth waiting for the next sale on them, they're almost as fast as gen 1 ssd's for sequential.

That said, this deals not bad either just a slower drive.

      … and double the capacity.

      • +1

oh yes, so it is! doh!

then the price is even better!

        :)

    • And that is much faster than the cruzer

  • How to make good use of the size? Where's a good place to use this? Need some reasons.

  • +2

using one of these with easy2boot.com loaded with multiple OS's… working great so far paid about $25$ more :(

  • how ~many~ you can order (unless some people by it in mass)
I know English isn't everyone's forte (or concern), so "many" countable, "much" uncountable is an easy way to remember it.
    Good deal thanks ~ =)

  • Thank you, just bought it, max you can buy was 3

  • I just want to know why not buying a 1Tb portable hard disk instead of 128Gb Memory Stick, which offers more storage with roughly the same price, ok, may be $10 more.

    • +4

      Speed & uber-portability.

    • +3

Physical Size of portable HD vs Memory Stick.
Also, my TV doesn't like to read portable HD but is good with USB sticks!

    • +1

The size alone….it's amazing how lugging around a portable HDD gets old very quickly - we are spoilt these days :)

    • You really had to pose this question to the public?

  • +4

    Was tempted. For a minute.
Read speed in Crystalmark is ~80mb. Write speed is 10MB/Sec !!! For the 64gig version
Have fun filling up the full 128gig.

  • How does this compare to the Aldi 128gb one?

    • I have the aldi 64gb.. I don't think they sold a 128gb one

      • They have a few left at my local aldi store in the display case.

        • Hmm never saw it on here or on aldi specials.. how much?

  • Do anyone else have issue making USB drives out of SanDisk drives or is it just me?

    • +3

Do anyone else have issue making USB drives out of SanDisk drives or is it just me?

No problem here. Whenever I buy a SanDisk USB drive, it comes out of the packaging as a SanDisk USB drive.

      • sorry i meant a bootable usb drive, you're pretty funny though.

        • Sandisk USB drives get recognised as USB hard drive which makes it little bit complex for turning it into a USB bootable drive. Is that what you have troubles with? Just use rufus if that is the case.

  • Small and sturdy, better than plastics, who doesn't like ones made of metal,?

  • It says that the seller cant deliver to my address. I live in the Perth Metro area! What's the go??

    • Im in the same boat, price has gone up quite a bit too. Damn snooze and we loose!
