Indomie Instant Cup Noodles $1 @ Coles Express (Not Confirmed All Stores)

110

I know there a a few fellow OzBargainets that are fans of the Indomie Noodles. Today at my local Coles Express I saw Indomie Instant Cup Noodles for only $1. These also scanned $1. These usually sell for around $1.70 - $2 in Coles and Woolies.

Interestingly the cashier said he thought only the Maggie cup noodles were $1 as per their website. Though they don't sell the Maggie.

So, this is possibly all stores. OR, the Indomie Noodles are reduced to $1 in stores that don't sell the Maggie variety.

**** Also, don't forget that if you spend over $20 in store, you get 10 cents a litre off your fuel!

Was trying to keep that a secret as i was going to Broden the whole lot after work :)

      • Rosanna, Victoria.

  • Takes me back to my Uni days.

  • I've tried this. The portions are quite small and not really worth the price although more convenience to cook.
It's much cheaper to buy the packets.

    • The convenience is the only reason to buy these, they're good if you either have near-zero time or energy to actually 'assemble' a normal packet. (eg. office lunch? :D)

      • I cook the normal packets at work all the time. Just place it in a bowl with water, microwave and strain it lol

        • Me too, I even have my own strainer and oven mitt (if the bowl gets too hot) in my desk drawers!

Totally agree. I have both in the cupboard. Packets for the size and price. The cups for convenience.

  • These type of cup noodles are regularly on special for around $1. The multipacks (24 etc) are better value if you don't need the convenience of the cup.

    • "These type" or the Indomie brand?
      Makes a huge difference.

At my local Asian groceries, Laguna @Hawthorn, $11 for a dozen. So if you buy more than 10 cups, it is cheaper. And this is an everyday price.

    • Great price, a lot cheaper than Coles and Woolies.

FYI, this would work out cheaper if you purchased 20 and got the 10 cents a litre of your fuel.

  • Ozbargainer would buy only one and reuse the cup with regular packet Indomie.
