I recently bought ESO and been playing that (with friends), and Witcher 3 when I have time in between.
Was just curious, what other game(s) people were playing atm?

got bloodborne as part of the PS4 bundle a couple of months back, it was great fun but it gave me high blood pressure as it was so intense lol but good game!
dragon age, i think the cheapest i've sent it was was $20USD (Amazon)
I prefer to get the physical copies at a lower price so I can resell them later :D, I got bloodborne for $36 on ebay and plan to resell it for around $30 after I finish it :). Dragon age inquisition is still looking around $40s for the physical copy. Eventually I also plan to get the witcher 3 and batman arkham knight when they fall around $30s online (preowned)
can sell you witcher 3 when I'm done :)
but it'll be a while cos it's such a massive game@langford28: haha I may take a while to finish bloodborne as well seems like a huge game, what are your thoughts on the Witcher 3 and ESO? and (if you played) Dragon age inquisition? …by the way Far Cry 4 is a good shooter, not that complicated with the dual shock :P

witcher 3, great storyline so far… where even the side quests are very good, nice graphics too :) i like it!
ESO (for me) is more of a casual game to play with friends, it's fun going through quests together and trading etc

don't you find it hard to use the controller for shooters? I could never master it
Im good with both controller and Mouse and keyboard.
started playing on console then went to pc only for a year now i bought a ps4 so play both pc and console.
when i went back to console i could barely get my character to run in a straight line but now after playing a while im pretty good.takes patience though to learn both.
nothing it just sits there…. :( My PC on the otherhand….

GTAV for PS3 has dropped a fair bit.
PS4 version dropped to $45 fishpond* previously
It's still one of the best games on PS4 that sells, that's why it hasn't dropped considerably. Like Mario games on Nintendo.

get ps plus… you get 1300 dollars value for only 70 dollars if you own a PS3, PS4 and Vita (like me)

I don't see the value in it when I only have time to play for a couple of hours every couple of weeks/months. $70pa is only a small amount, but I might not play online for the year.
I can see the value in it if I had the time. I was thinking about paying for it for GTAV Heists, but life gets in the way. ;)
I will get it eventually, when something online only comes up which I'm keen and have the time for.
Edit: But thanks for your input. I'm borderline ready to pay for it.. ;) I also have ADSL1, though seems to be OK when they have free weekends - don't feel too much lag (everyone else might see me rubber banding though ;))

Amazing game but I did get side tracked with ESO. ESO's MMORPG element keeps me coming back.

Hate to say it but had to shelve Bloodborne as I found it too hard and I was in serious need of some calming down

Preordered bloodborne but still haven't finished it since I'm enjoying myself in GTA V on PC. Wish they'd fix the bloody lag though.

Absolutely. I think the decisions you make and the unintended consequences were done really well. Excellent game, only problem is if I sit down to play an hour or so, it quickly turns into four hours.

Just finished Witcher 3 last night, been doing into Driveclub, PES15 and started Batman.

I bought the PS4 solely for FIFA.Why? You can get FIFA on everything. Certainly you already had one of the 11 devices that could play it.
Maybe cause he wanted a PS4? who the hell cares.
But why he want a PS4 if all he wanted it was for a game he could already get on a console he likely already owns? I thought this was OzBargain, not OzWasteMoney. That's who cares; logic and common sense.

The PC version (just to name a few things it has that leaves the console versions in the dust) has more responsive gameplay, full cutomisable controller support, more gameplay sliders and setup options, better graphics, better environments, better sound, more crowd chants, more sound effects, more variety in stadium crowds, an unlocked frame rate, faster updating of rosters, support for multi-monitor viewing, an improved database and complete mod support - which includes the abilities to have current/future/past uniforms and fully incorporated Game Modes / Tournaments including the UEFA CL, UEFA Europa League, World Cup, Confederations Cup, Copa America, Euro, etc…. Not to mention that it's also less than half the price of the console version, too.
@infinite: Having played both, I don't think either of them have more responsive gameplay as they feel the same and I didn't really notice a difference between the environments/sound/crowd chants etc.
I wasn't aware that it allowed full mod support, that's pretty damn awesome.. especially since it's the only way we'll probably get the UEFA CL into FIFA any time soon or vintage uniforms.
I guess what I was trying to refer to was that FIFA feels like it was meant to be played on a couch, with your mates on a TV. Not every regular joe has multiple screens so playing FIFA on a 24" monitor would be awful compared to your 40/50+ inch TV.
Like most people have said; I didn't actually own any consoles before the PS4 - the last console i had was a Dreamcast.

The gameplay differs? Okay, I'll bite. How does the gameplay change in FIFA? How does the gameplay change in the Last of Us? How does the gameplay change in God of War 3? The gameplay is identical in every single one of those on every platform they're available (and I can go on for a long time about many more examples). Uncharted, DMC, MGS Ground Zeroes, CoD and all the sports games, please show me one example as to how the gameplay differs between PS3 and PS4. I know one, but I want to see if you have any idea what you're talking about.
There are graphical changes. That's it. 30 extra frames isn't gameplay.
@FrankMcFuzz: Having played the hell out of FIFA 15 on both PS3 and PS4, the gameplay is completely different. The game itself feels a hell of a lot smoother then the PS3 aswell.
I'm not going to go into detail what the differences are because I didn't spend a lot of time on the PS3. My friend who was playing a lot of FIFA on the PS3, came and played on my PS4 claimed it was very different - in terms of defending and passing (some others which I have since forgotten). Even with my limited time on the PS3, after switching to the PS4, the differences were quite obvious.

I tried other games, but 95% of the PS4 usage are for FIFA… lol
with 2% on blurays and 2% on Netflix…im the same lol. now that im older i have very little time to play, but still have the compulsion to buy a gaming console… the only game i own is fifa 15 and crack it on every couple of days to play a quick match against my brother

Playing dragon age inquisition. Good game, much better than DA2. I'm not as into the story as origins though but not very far into it yet so that may change!
I felt the same when playing DA:I. Gameplay is fun, but the story just isn't as good as Origins.

A lot of critics didn't like the new direction of this one, but I for one LOVED it. You play a cop this time around and it plays out like a TV series… there are episodes in which there are recaps etc… very smart.
I haven't yet got into the multiplayer but being a battlefield I doubt it's going to be bad.

Yes its worth it, (P-Cars) that's if you are interested in arcade style racers, the sim element of it isn't overly deep, and the open ended career mode unusual… it also seems there is still a solid amount of people playing it online too…
Also Playing Batman and Farcry 4.
Yes. I've heard it's also a better experience than F1 2015 even for Formula 1 & E type cars. Forza isn't what it used to be.

It's the year to finally get one, Fallout 4 hits in November and the "better" version of Metal Gear Solid V in September.
Might be worth waiting till the end of this year and seeing if the bundle pack ins include any of these games.
Not worth trading, you'ld barely get a few bucks for the PS2, better off keeping it

Heard Batman: Arkham Knight is great, waiting for a price drop on that…Have you played asylum and city though? You should play them first if you haven't already. Also you'll be waiting a while for a price drop. Arkham games take 6 months minimum before they start dropping.

Helldivers. I'm obsessed with this game and can't recommend it enough. It's co-op multiplayer at its best with a great community and superb support from the devs. But most of all it's just a blast to play.
Currently playing Batman Arkham Knight and Rocket League. Would like to try Hell Divers but keep thinking it will come to PS+ eventually.
They're releasing it on disc with all the dlc in August so I doubt it'll be on ps+ for at least 3+ months. It's money very well spent getting it now, if anything else to support the devs who are active in the community on the sub-reddit and are supporting the game brilliantly. They's already been 2 free dlcs since launch which I think I'd great given the fact it's a small dev.
Lots and lots of binding of Isaac: Rebirth, bit of riddler trophy collecting in Arkham Knight, and some rocket league
