A booking that I tried to do came up as 'non-refundable' and so it was not worth the few dollars of savings over other web sites.

Thanks for the post. I had a very negative experience with webjet and ended up loosing money. They never answered any of my emails, phone calls, and never tried to make up for it or reimburse me. I will never book anything through them again. Just know what you get yourself into.

    • Thanks. That's good to know. What went wrong?

I booked a package, flight + hotel. Flight out got canceled 4 days before departure, but the airline offered me to get on another 24 hours later, which I did.
I tried to call webjet to get the first hotel night reimbursed. I found out that it is impossible to call them, there is no number and the one they gave on their facebook was directing to a different company. I then tried to email them at all the different email addresses I could find and never received any answer.
I gave up thinking that I was only loosing 1 hotel night.
When I arrived at the hotel in Indonesia they could not find my booking anywhere. I spent 3 hours arguing with them to try to prove to them that everything was already paid for through webjet while they were frantically searching to find my booking. In the end we got to stay there without paying again but I don't even know if my money ever got to the hotel, lucky those guys were professional.

While searching for ways to contact webjet, I found pages and pages of people complaining about webjet. Some people got it way worst than I did and were left hanging.

  • Looks like it doesnt work with all hotels
