The $1 tier is great value if you don't already own the games. The BTA games are quite good too, but more people are going for the $1 tier at the moment since the price of BTA is dropping.

Definitely, the first tier is really great value. Can't comment on Fallen Enchantress but the other two games are awesome.

      • Fallen Enchantress: LH is a fairly good Fantasy 4x game from Stardock.

Game play is reminiscent of MPS' Master of Magic.

The game was originally a replacement for FE (no LH), and both are no longer supported, the game is now being replaced by Sorcerer King.

Well worth $1 if you're into 4x games

I'll be trying it along Endless Space :-)

        • @kaneissik:
endless space is well worth it - you have to put some time into it to learn everything but an awesome game

The Stanley Parable is an excellent game. Worth it just for that.

    • Is the Stanley Parable a standalone game, or do I need to have CS:Source or HL2 in my account in order to play it?

      • +1

        Completely standalone.

        • Good to know. Thanks!

@endlesstrail: You should also pick up the Demo. It is a stand alone, shorter version of TSP. Some people think it is better.

        • @Unseatingcargo1: This is just a game where you press a button and it says 8!!!

Good to see humble finally have a bundle worth getting again. Last great bundle was the humble origin bundle (the original one)

    • Hear, hear.

    • +3

They've been some great bundles. The Star Wars one was great, THQ one was goofy.

    • Only game worth getting (imho) is Van Helsing II. Interesting how peoples opinions can vary as it seems no body else has mentioned that game as being worth while.

      • Van Helsing II, Fallen Enchantress, Stanley Parable & Mercenary Kings are the standouts here imho. I love the Van Helsing & Van Helsing II games but the netcode is horrible, always desyncs. Might be okay playing with 1 other person i'm not sure but I play with 2 friends and it has horrible gamebreaking issues when playing multiplayer. We even played it over LAN at one point and it still had the same issues so it seems not to be related to latency, just poor sync state code.

      • Definitely agree. Mercenary kings is basically a metal slug clone. Typically I can play those games for an hour or two but then I get bored of them.

        • When you pay $1 for it a couple hrs as well as some other games is a good deal to me, much better than you get at the arcade.

BTA is on the rise. US$4.13. BTA bundle is definitely worth it i think. Van Helsing was apparently a good diablo clone.

Just realized you may have meant that key for someone else and that is why nobody used it. Could you PM me or enable PMs and I'll message you the key back to give to somebody else.

        • the key was for anyone.

Thanks, I've been meaning to get The Stanley Parable during a sale for ages, the other games are just a bonus.

Bought them. Not gonna play them, but bought them.

You know…. For just in case!

I have around 960 games on Steam. Just looked at my profile last night and I think i've played about 70 of them, only about 30 of them with high hours played though.

  • Try saying "Humble Jumbo Bundle" 10 times fast.

    • So like a chipmunk?

  • Worth it for space engineers alone

  • Gone up to US$4.53.

Always wanted to try out the Stanley Parable… great price and the other games at average price is just a wonderful bonus.

Anyone got any idea what the extra games are?

a lot of really decent games - i have played most of them. Definitely worth paying the average and i love space engineers so worth that too imo.
