I played it quite a few years ago. Graphics have certainly aged, but still this is on my highly recommended list. Heaps of fun and good gameplay.

I loved it so much I snapped up it's spiritual successor: "Carrier Command: Gaea Mission" - Holy crap - that was a disappointment.

This game is so laggy. Windows 8.1 64 bit, Core i5 2500k, 8GB RAM and Radeon 380 4GB GPU.

Anyone with lag issues?

It also has no multi-core support, looking at the CPU usage 1 core sits at 60 percent utilisation.
