      is that format better?

      • much…

        But you need to remove

"Masters would have to price beat this by 10%"

        because they won't

        • Fixed. All that sneaky Masters fine print. Thought they were pretty good the other day though when the sale and 10% coupon overlapped. Purchased first, then bought the 5% wish card. When I collected it they allowed me to refund and then repurchase at the same price with the wish card.

They also won't give the 10% price beat on appliances, only price match on appliances.

  • $775 Shipped

    No deal

    • No MyerOne points though…

      • Only an issue if paying with MyerOne and Myer Visa Card = 2397 points = $23.97

But less than $24 :) and not shipped to your door ;)

  • Is the Absolute really worth almost three times the price of the DC45…..if HN really are selling them tomorrow for $300?

I had DC59 animal which should be better than DC45. The suction was impressive. But that tiny dust bowl filled up very quickly (thanks largely to said impressive suction). It is good for quick jobs on floors that are vacuumed very regularly.

Emptying it is annoying. I have to take it outside with a plastic bag. Doing it 4 times to finish my living room was not appreciated.. With dust flying everywhere when you eject the dust, it made me understand why a lot of people prefer bagged vacuums over saving money with bagless. Now I understand.

Other dyson barrels are no different. But their dust bowls are big enough that you don't have to empty it 4 times to do your living room.

  • This unit was at Costco docklands last week for $759

  • To be honest, I bought the entry level V6 from HN for $350 at the expo last week. The bigger models have the same motor (as per the Dyson rep). Mine is ok to use at home but nothing compared the the Miele I have as my everyday vac. I wouldn't spend more than $350 on a handheld vac. Bosch also have quite a good model that last upto an hour for $450. They had it on special at the expo for around $250. I should have bought this instead of Dyson.
