Experience the freshest, most flavoursome cup of coffee you have ever tasted.

    From a pod? I don't think so….

I kinda agree with JV. Roast, Ground and Brewed is considered fresh… or at least Ground and brewed at the same time.

He has a point. Lol @ the link. Just read. Little suss or it's me?

  • So it's $8.95/week. The free trial is just that 1 week?

    • That is where the suss bit comes in. Sadly some would fall for it. The old, you can cancel at any time thing.

      • that may be, but people go crazy when its a free netflix, nrl, afl sub for a month.

        • they're easy to cancel…

        • @jv:

I see. I've never been interested in subscription services myself.

    • free trial says a month. but normally $8.95 a week for 10 pods is more expensive than Nespresso themselves isnt it?

BE QUICK - OFFER IS AVAILABLE TO THE NEXT 50 CUSTOMERS

Why then did I receive it as a popup if I just subscribed to your emails?

    Neg due to:

    • No exact details on what is involved in the trial (is it a week/month…what?!)
    • If it's a week, as we can predict, what's the odds you receive your first delivery within a week so you can 'cancel anytime'?
    • No notice on who is in that first 50. You listed this as a forum post hours ago.
    • Standard deal you're offering to new email subscribers
    • the pop up says
REGISTER FOR YOUR FIRST MONTH FREE TRIAL!
Enjoy your first month of The Ultimate Coffee Experience on us! Enter your email below to receive your registration code for your no obligation, complimentary FIRST MONTH FREE TRIAL!

I would assume it's a month (40 capsules in the basic sub)

  • +1

The website talks about unlimited coffee, but offers no option to get it.
I'm also amused that they admit that 10 pods (basic sub) is less than 3 coffees. That's my experience with pods. Not really good enough for a week for one person.

  • Hi All

    Thanks for your comments!

JV - you raise a valid point, our apologies if it did not read clearly. The post and product quality is relative to what's available in the home for the majority of coffee lovers who consume in the home.

Our meticulous process guarantees freshness. A standard of freshness that can only be achieved through automated delivery. You can read more about our process on The Business page on our website.

The free trial is 4 x renewals which covers the entire monthly volume of pods in the Casual Barista option.

Spackbace - thank you for your feedback! You will not be charged at all during the first 4 weekly renewals. The promotion is for a monthly trial and you can absolutely pause/upgrade anytime or alternatively cancel in the last week of trial without any fees. We are confident that everyone who samples our pods will absolutely love them!

The offer is absolutely exclusive to the first 50 customers to enter the promotional code. The code itself is advertised elsewhere so its important to get in quick!

Like any other promotion, it is very difficult to provide live updates on how many trial offers are still available. We are certainly regulating in our backend systems.

If you are lucky enough to receive a confirmation email you are absolutely eligible for the promotion!

If you need anything further please email our team at [email protected]

    Cheers guys!

We still have a few spots left for the trial

  • when seeking to offer "free" trials on the condition credit card details and addresses are provided, it's generally more comforting for the consumer when a business that is new provides some hard details on their website, such as a phone number/address.

  • -1

We're all done for tonight guys! No more free trials!

Stay on the lookout for other promotions coming soon!

    • Ah huh, why then is there still a popup with the following:

Doesn't say anything about "First 50"

  • I don't get this craze with every Tom, Dick and Harry producing coffee pods compatible with Nespresso.
The average authentic Nespresso sleeve of 10 pods costs $6.80. or 68c / Pod. This contains a blend of premium coffee, sealed in high quality foil in Switzerland.
How are these aftermarket ones going to compete with the quality and price at the same time?

I bought some after market ones at the Easter Show and the foil that seals the pod was so loose, the machine couldn't even puncture it.

    • I don't use pods at home but i did try the Coles Sumatra ones $4 for 10 in my sons Nespresso machine and thought they were OK.

    • +1

You dont think Australian made pods are a good idea and prefer if everyone used the same generic 'nespresso' capsules that use stale coffee? Im not sure about these guys but ive signed up to their free trial, will update once I receive the pods. They claim to use fresh roasted coffee which as far as I can tell could make a huge difference in flavour as I know coffee goes stale after a month or 2.

      • +1

The problem is, the coffee may be fresher (i.e ground locally) but to offset costs, the pod material and it's sealant are usually poor quality. This affects the coffee thus rendering the "fresh coffee" advantage useless

I've used the more expensive L'or Pods and they tasted horrible.

  • +1

Ordered but never received any pods. Think it might be a scam. Sent emails, no reply.
Keep getting subscription updated emails from them each week, but no coffee.

    • Someone else asked same thing on Facebook:

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Apologies for the delay in receiving your trial Mypods. Your trial period will absolutely begin once your goods have been shipped/received so no need to worry!

To provide our customers with the market leading standard of freshness in each delivery, we freshly roast and ship based upon the number of orders each week - the trial period is to get you started, we promise you will never have to worry about delivery!

If you have anymore questions please email us so we can get back to you straight away at [email protected]

      Cheers

    • Same here, I keep getting bombarded with their emails, but no pods!!

      • Just got comments opened coz I was wondering if you guys got your coffee?

        • No coffee yet. An email from them last month about changing their courier etc.But still no coffee. Dud.

    • so most likely a scam ?

    • Just got comments opened coz I was wondering if you guys got your coffee?

  • I don't think this is a scam either they were hoping people continue after the trial with out getting any trial products.
