Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ BL480 $199.99 @ Costco [Auburn, NSW] (Membership Required)

141

Saw this at Auburn NSW Costco while browsing this afternoon. Own one of these myself and use it for breakfast smoothies every morning. Works very well. Only drawback so far is it's quite loud. Noise is not a dealbreaker for me though, but would be conscious of using it at odd hours if you don't want to wake up the entire house.

Next cheapest on Staticice $235 on appliances online or $249 RRP at Goodguys/Binglee/Myers etc. http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=nutri+ninja+aut…

Not sure how long this deal will last but they had quite a few in stock.

Reduced price may have something to do with newer model released (1500W vs 1000W) with a Blender attachment but costs $297.00 http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/ninja-nutri-ninja-blender-duo-…

Also had the Nutribullet for $139.00 http://i.imgur.com/0WweJ3t.jpg. (Note, nutribullet is only 600W)

Got this for 152 through group deals (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/200845) - i dont think the costco deal is that good other than the better warranty you get from costco.

That deal is already finished. Is there any current deal at $152?

This is a good powerful bullet blender but it is LOUD and will make you an enemy of anybody else in your house and possibly your neighbours as well. I returned mine to costco. Honestly I think bullet blenders are worse then a real blender in pretty much every way. even clean-up isn't really that much better. can't do hot things, can't do really thick things, not really good at seeds can leak around the base and a pain to clean around where the tabs go.

If you have a really specific use case this could be great.

But how will you extract all those hidden nutrients with just a plain old blender?? The box says intelligence too, for maximum nutrient extraction. Enjoy your bland nutrient-less smoothies, peasant.</s>

I place all my smoothies on a bed of magnets that are directed to the 9th meridian Earth's natural lay lines just like our lord and saviour Beyoncé handed down in her 10 blogmandments.

Yeah I know - how dumb is that - yet we actually have people claiming that the blender they use causes food to be more nutritious and that the reason for this is that the electric motor is more powerful.

All of these people will of course claim they're impervious to marketing as well obviously, how on earth could they be rubes in this situation being so intelligent and all lel?

  • has been this price for last two months or so - shouldn't go up too soon.

We love ours but agree it is very loud.

    • Being loud is fine but the fact that it stops and starts irregularly during its cycle makes the loudness even more irritating.

  • I got one of these for Christmas and they're great, I generally use the two litre jug to mix enough smoothies for the day.

    • The biggest cup is 900ml do you have another model?

      • I must do….. It's the Ninja Professional I think. With all these companies copying each other I must of lost track:/.

        • Yeah it's like what I said in my first post Jugs are more useful then bullets.

When I started using it, my neighbour complained to council that I am constructing without permit.

  • (Note, nutribullet is only 600W)

OK. I bet that made zero difference other than possibly noise.

    • There could be a 400w load bank in there somewhere…

"Extract hidden nutrition from fruit and vegetables". What, and do a better job than the acid in your stomach and enzymes and microbes in your gut? Please!

Just buy a stick blender from BigW/Target etc for $15.

    Don't be sheeple!

  • It is the same price at Docklands too
