  • you should probably link your site rather than the image of the roses? looks like a good deal though!

    • Can't edit my comment, but I spoke too soon. Shocking customer service and products look like they're not as described.

    still better than nothing lol.

    Caveat emptor.

I ordered some flowers from the last 50% deal. Suffice to say the recipient was not impressed and I was very disappointed.

    What I ordered: http://www.stera.com.au/store/p19/One_Fine_Day.html

    What was received: http://imgur.com/a/sQBLA#gjw2Jnp
Top 2 images are front/back, 3rd image is after pruning the wilted flowers (majority with broken stems).

Obviously this is only one person's experience, but I would be open to hearing of other people who have ordered. YMMV.

I did try to engage the seller in conversation, but she denied responsibility and ceased responding.

      The delivered product looks shite.

    • +1

That's disappointing and definitely not a $89 bouquet. You can get better at woolies. I have ordered some for my mother in a couple of weeks so I hope she receives a much better product and is not disappointed on her birthday. If not I will be sure to share.

Sorry to put a dampener on your mood!

The only reason I post this is because I think it is important for people to get feedback - both consumer and vendor. Transparency and accountability is very important for trust to be built.

Hopefully the vendor will realise that people don't buy flowers once off, and that building a reputation for excellence is difficult and can be undone very quickly. For your sake, I hope they read this thread and make sure your mother gets a spectacular bunch of flowers. :)

Great feedback. Thanks for sharing your experience, even though it wasn't a positive one for you it may save someone else having the same experience… Or at least allow them to make an informed decision.

Damn OZB, I'm sorry for your bad luck! If you purchased it with your credit card, I would've submitted a transaction dispute and tell them that the product received was not as per description.

The photo of the bouquet on their website looks really full of roses but from your photo it looks really sparse. I reckon a $ 25 bouquet from Coles is better lol.

        Hmm… I did. Didn't realise I could do that.

The cost is really only a small part of the disappointment. Flowers are a very emotional thing - you want the recipient to be happy and if both of you aren't happy then it defeats the purpose. I guess it really is the thought that counts!

    • Reviews can be added to their Facebook page.

    • The ones I ordered last time, (fortunately) didn't look as bad as yours. But I hadn't received them by 6pm (same day delivery), so lodged a PayPal dispute. Sure enough, they were on my door step at 7pm!

we made lots of sales last times with very happy customers. and we do hand delivery so its not possible that flowers will break. Thank you

    • +2

      1) I am only reporting what was received.

      2) There were many flowers that were wilted but not broken. IMHO, looks like flowers that you couldn't sell as they were expiring. Hence the discount you offer is not a genuine discount but really clearance of unmerchantable stock.

we challenge everyone on here to put their orders through and if your not 100% satisfied you get your money back with free 6 roses. and this customer deliberately borken and caused damage to the flowers that were received so he could claim 60% off for his next order, thats what he got anyway as he wished. but please be honest in the future with other businesses. Thanks

    • +3

Wow. Blaming your customers now. Sure that'll go down well on ozbargain.

    • +2

I don't think he/she would go through all that trouble of posting pics and writing a mini review to purchase off you again for 60% off…

    • +2

Let's just forget for a minute that the flowers were wilted and broken.

The colors and arrangement are substantially different from advertised. The stem count is different. The reusable glass vase is replaced by ceramic.

Can I just say that your customer service is so poor I don't wish to order from you again, 60% discount or not. You have been defensive, unwilling to engage, and accusatory.

I leave the photos to speak for themselves.

      Wow… Just. Wow… Swing & a miss @ customer relations…

      Good luck with that.

  • Your original post has 50% off fresh flowers with the code valid for 6 months. Are roses not considered fresh flowers?

    • Why would anyone use a 40% off code when your 50% off will be valid for a few more months.

    • "Are roses not considered fresh flowers?"
Seen the photos above? Promise kept; 100% deffo not fresh.

Will never buy from this company, who despite the high price tag, BLAME THEIR CUSTOMERS when they deliver old, tired, broken stems as per the example above. Sure delivery problems can happen. When they do, you ought go the extra mile to fix the issue. You are a service and happiness industry, after all. Your attitude on here is a direct example of the the kind of childish, shit service you provide.
Will shop with decent, reputable companies when I need flowers delivered. IE not you.
Learn some basics about customer service stera!

Diagraceful and abusive rep making insane accusations towards users sharing feedback of their service. Unprofessional, childish and a complete joke.

  • made so many sales thank you so much every1 unfortunately only a few bad experiences over 100s of good ones get to be mentioned. thanks every1.
