    • Thanks, done.

      • is it done? not in the title

    • I have this, bought it a while back, and yes, there are in-app purchases but can play all of the game without purchasing them!

      Great fun!

Comes up as $4.99 iOS 9 beta 2
Edit : defaulted to US store but bugs preventing me
    iOS beta BAD

    • +7

People were using iOS betas – known to be buggy and crash a lot – to download apps and games, and then when they wouldn't work, leave a review trashing the app and destroying its ratings, when the developer hadn't even had a chance to update it for the new iOS version, because by definition it was in beta. This year is the first year Apple changed that policy, so people on betas like yourself can't download and review apps, so this is probably a side effect of that.

    • As a developer you should know better; you are a developer aren't you, or else why would be using beta software and then complaining it doesn't work properly…

It was to provide information for those on Beta Ios
and for those who are considering it

        • I wouldn't say "iOS beta BAD" is useful information though…

        • @gokhanh:
I have it on iphone 6 plus and ipad mini 2 and some of the bugs are insane

        • @thelastnoob: well it is a beta and I hope you're reporting all the bugs you come across ;)

        • @gokhanh: App Store comments are only marginally better than YouTube comments.

I loathe in app purchases. I would much prefer to pay the money up front and know I can get to the end of something.

Im developing an app at the moment that will be a free download but with ads. It will have an IAP to disable ads (like just a couple of dollars).
What is your opinion (and other's here) on IAP in that case?

      • Same as above… Free for a limited time download that's without AD.

      • This is a good way to go, but if I wanted to gift someone an app I cant because the only way to get the full version is an IAP (as opposed to having a lite version and a full version).

        • Yeah a good point and an oversight by Apple I think. Although developers can apparently now gift an IAP to a tester / media etc, doesnt help regular customers though.

      • I don't have an issue with that use of the in app purchase; as long as people know it is a trial version and, up front, what the full version costs. The issue I have is things like "Plants Vs Zombies II" and a number of other apps, particularly aimed at children, where the in app purchases go on forever to make the game "easier" to play or to add to a collection.

        • Depends how you define a trial I suppose. This is more an adsupported version as there is no time limit to its use. Whereas dlovep's app would be considered trial. Thanks for your feedback. I also hate all those apps with endless paid addons.

@Gravy: The decision to buy depends on how often I use it. If I use something a lot I usually buy the full version to keep the writer developing new stuff. Best of luck with the app.

  • Thank OP, solid.

Now all we need is Lemmings for free. :)

    • +1

I paid $50 for lemmings (all levels) for my Palm Tungsten E2 in the past!

  • Love Worms. Thanks OP!

@tomleonhart Haha don't say this in public.

  • Expired?

    • It's not free in the US store, I just purchased it in the AU store about an hour ago.

The link still shows it as free, so no, not expired.

  • Ah, that explains it. I have a US account.

    • Now available free in the US store using the same link

    Already own it.
