    AU$6.37

  • I have one. It's fine for occasional use. The clasp on the case broke pretty easily and it's a real pest because the spring system means that the case is permanently trying to open.

Now that I think about it, I should find the spring and remove it.

    • +3

or put a rubber band around the case?

      • Yeah I've done something to it in the interim. Killing the spring is probably better.

    • Will the ends of the bits start degrading after a few uses?

      • I've very lightly used it. Too hard to say.

    • -1

If it works occasionally why wouldn't it work all the time?

      • My comment was more about that the kit is ok, but as I don't use it too often, I offer no comment on how well it holds up in the long term.

One example would be if the tips are so soft that they get deformed from usage. Considering the kinds of screws that this kit will undo, it's unlikely to be much of an issue. Maybe on the philips heads as you can need a fair bit of torque to get some of those screws in/out.

  • I was looking for something like this. Would anyone have any other sets that they are using that I could compare this to? tks

  • Would be awesome with a powered handle that has some low speed setting.

A circle screwdriver?!? For opening moebius strips I suppose…

This deal must be good, it has an "ANTI-FAKE LABLE" !!!

    http://g01.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1QRf5HVXXXXbIXFXXq6xXFXXXg/205…

Don't be fooled into buying one with an "ANTI-FAKE LABEL"

    • +1

If thats not enough for you, refer to the 'products real shot'

      • Guys… $7…..
        What do you expect.
Will still buy one as i occasionally need small bits

  • Anyone know shipping times?

    • +1

      If it's anything like Gearbest I won't bother…

    • It may take 3 weeks to Australia with tracking number. You can track your order online.

      • -2

It may take 3 weeks to Australia

Migratory birds can do it in just 6 days !!!

        • +7

That's because they dont fly through auspost

        • 2 weeks to catch that bird, fare enough.

  • No Y bits in the label

Also how good is the metal?

I bought a different set which broken the bit for a Phillip head +

    • yes, it is:
      2 * Y screw driver: Y2.0, Y2.5

it cost me $6.98 AUD after paypal conversion

  • These kits are actually decent quality, the cheapest I found on eBay in australia (SYD seller) was ~$15 del. so taking the slow boat is ~1/3rd of the cost!

  • I feel like the smaller driver and extension bar make this much more useful then the standard dicksmith one. The fat and short driver can never actually reach what you want to unscrew.

    • A short one would also hinder you from getting to what you want to screw.

    Tweezer
    1 * 12cm Handle
    1 * 10cm Extension

Perfect for plucking my…. Oh! Never mind

    • Wish the tweezer was a straight instead of bent.

      • For TightBottom, it's not the tweezer that's bent.

        • maybe that's why his bottom's tight?

  • Got one. Thanks.
On ebay they are around $11

  • Jackly

    transgender?

  • 1 * Triangle screw driver: 2.0

    Perfect for tapking bottles..

  • I have what seems to be a similar one at home and have used it a few times.

Most drivers have been quite durable although one of the Torx drivers twisted out of shape when tightening the small screws on an Asus Laptop.

    • Yes, unless the metal is Vanadium,

some small size tips will break easily.

  • I bought one off eBay. Pretty decent, especially for this price!

  • When checking order, Suburb name seems to be not there. Issue with the site. hopefully they can send correctly based on post code.

  • IF this metal is not Vanadium then the tips will break easily
especially the smaller size phillips head tips

I bought something similiar and it broke

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanadium

    • +1

You mean 'contains Vanadium'. Pure Vanadium would not do a good job, but adding it to steel (in combination with Chromium) makes the steel harder.

These did a very good job for me:
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271001267208

I paid less back then, and the exchange rate was 1:1. But the quality is fine.

      • yes…

It is the closest thing we have to Adamantium.

        those tools aren't 45 in 1 tools
        they are all torx

  • +1
Sorry, for some reason fails to pay,

    we show you the details:

    Consignee's email is illegal

I put +dd4 in the email to track spam…

    • I did the same and got the same message, even changing my email address doesn't fix it :\

  • Been using a very similar one for years, can recommend.

  • How do you convert $4.94 USD to $6.37aud? XE converts it to $6.75

  • $7 for me, it was

  • showing as $7 in paypal….. I'm not one to complain about $0.63 but i thought it should be mentioned

    • This is ozbargain mate.
      You should becomplaining!!

      • Comes out at $7 give or take depending on paypal / credit card you choose to use.
Yes it may only be 63c, what if it was just a decimal place :)

    Bargain of the day

Look like a ninja for just 78c !

    • Lol

    • this will be useful for some GTA5 wannabe criminals

  • So its not possible to purchase without registering?

  • I've used jackly sets for a while now, and have a couple of this exact set. I wouldn't recommend using the torx bit in a power tool as I've lent my set to work mates who have done exactly that to have the bits snap off. I have a set where the driver tip that holds the bit has punctured through so I permently leave the extension bar in or I'd loose the bits inside the driver, other than those issues it's been very handy for electronics.

    • At the risk of offending your mates, I don't know anyone would think putting one of these in a power tool is achieving anything. If you are a pro and pulling apart and putting electronics together all day get a good set. If you are not you should stay away from power tools for delicate electronics

      • i know i upped them mate. I have it there purely for taking apart small electronic devices, and purely as a hand tool. some people are just tools mate.

  • Great deal. Thank you very much. I already have one. It is a great tool set.

  • Anyone successfully repaired a hard drive here?

    • what happens if u hook a hdd up

      what message you get?

  • i bought one.
will go nicely sitting along side my watch repair/adjustment kit i bought off ebay for less then $10.
Expecting the exact same quality with this one, rubbish.
But for the rate i use it, maybe once every 2 years im not going to complain

  • Delete please, logged into the website, and my order status has changed to shipped. Didn't get an email about it.

    • Hello,

  • This product is excellent. I fix iPhone's and Desktop computers and this set of tools gets the job done. I'm from Australia and I can guarantee you that you won't be able to get a quality product like this here for the same price I paid, with free shipping

  • I just received mine today and I must say that for the small price of just $6.37 that I paid that this is a great item I like to pull apart gadgets and repair them and this item is great for doing that. I orderd it through DD4 and there shipping time was really fast and communication of the order was fantastic. I plan on buying alot more items from DD4 in the future and I would recommend DD4 to anyone looking to buy small inexpensive items online. I am really glad that I found out about DD4 through ozbargain. Thankyou and enjoy their items guys.

  • I received my Precision 45-in-1 magnetic screwdriver kit very quickly after ordering and was very surprised by the quality of the product. For the $6.37 I spent on an entire screwdriver set I was expecting a cheap throwaway that I could use a couple of times before something broke and rendered the item unusable. I was very happy to find that this was not the case and that the screwdriver and bits have lasted very well, surviving many DIY tasks around the home. The container that everything is kept in is also worth mentioning, it keeps all the bits organised and even raises and lowers them for easy access when the lid is opened! I am very happy with the product and the service provided by DD4.com and will definitely return for future purchases.
