  • Too quick for me. I saw my manager photocopy a whole heap of these a second ago so I guess they'll be handed out in store

  • Coupon valid for 1 redemption only at any BIG W store, in store and in a single transaction.

    • See taQ's comment above. They are actually printing this out in store to be handed out.

    Sweet, get 360 red plastic buckets for the price of 320.

      Good chance of you kicking the bucket with all those around.

    good find - 4 box of huggies for $90 and an extra 5% discount by using wish gift card is a great deal.

  • If they use the same system as wollies then it isn't smart enough to know diff between preload gift cards from other items. I bought a couple of $50 jb cards last time with the $15 off $100 at woolies and still worked.

      hrmmm… buy gift cards with the voucher and then use those gift cards with another voucher! Double discount!!!

    • Can you buy gift cards at self checkout? This would avoid being denied at the register.

      • For cards with pre-set values, you will be able to use self checkout without the need for assistance, but I think this discount offer might be different than at Woolies.

        • What makes you think that, Scrypton?

        • Confirmed I was able to self checkout preset gift card "till last step'. Then the machine said to ask for assistant to activate the card. All good.

          @coprocessor8087:

          did you get the discount?

        • @coprocessor8087:

          but all they do is approve the transaction. Not physically load the card with a nominated amount.

          @Bazwick:

          I have just tried purchasing a gift card at Woolies using my EDR gift card promo (buy $30 get $5 off) and it doesn't give me the discount.

          Perhaps I need to use the normal "storewide" promo instead of the EDR specific member promo. Haven't tried, though.

          Anyways, that was Woolies.

  • It worked. Thank you.
    Printed it.
    Scanned at self serve checkout - said "code recorded" or like. Had scanned ER card btw.
    $10 successfully deducted on 'pay now' step.

  • checkout guy and his supervisor at Watergardens refused to let me split the items into 2 transactions and applied the code, saying only one redemption instead, could have saved another $10.

    • I assuming u buying something $200+, i think its hard for them to chop "one item" into half in 2 separate transactions

      • No, i bought several items, one was around $100 and the rest could easily split to another transaction but they refused point blank.

        • and u should do it separate manually, just buy it in two times man

        • @ccwwayne: yes I'm aware of that sir, but then they took away my only printed coupon (and no printed handout, no communication about the discount at that store). And by the way they (staff and supervisor) expressed their interpretation of the discount, came back doing the second purchase would result in refusal to honour the coupon.

        • @lgacb08: then u should do it in self checkout, use the voucher as many times u want

  • Just tried using with 2 x $50 gift vouchers - the self serve wouldn't accept it :(

    • What type of gift card?

  • Tried "super cheap auto - $50"
