Kogan 2m MFI Lightning Cable 3 Pack $9 Delivered

510

As part of Kogans sale they are selling their 3 pack of 2m lightning cables for $9 with free shipping. They are very good quality and for the price can you argue??

Apologies if it has been posted before but I could not find it listed explicitly and given every apple user needs a ton of these cables, it constitutes a very good deal as opposed to the rubbish ebay ones.

  • Good find, thanks.
Keen for some cheap 2m MFI cert cables to go with my new 5 outlet charger.

Do these stop working on apple updates?

edit: assuming that's what it means by MFi Certified…

    • +2

no, being MFI (Made For iPhone) cables they are certified by apple so none of that "this accessory is not designed blah blah blah" rubbish!

  • I'll eat my hat is these have Official MFI certification, however, I'll give them a go. Payed by paypal for easier despite resolution.

You mean eat your box ?

    • I want a video

    • My pack of these just arrived, and it looks like they are MFI..
Found a nice hat to eat?

There is a big label on the back of the pack stating the product has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance standards…
And they do seem to feel quite high quality compared to other cheap cables, much thicker and nicer feeling.

And so far so good after a few hours of use across an iphone 6+ (re-connected multiple times without a problem) and an ipad mini 3.

      • Found a nice hat to eat?

        Oh.

  • Cheers, grabbed 2 lots, always handy to have around for when one breaks.

  • Note they also have 3 x 2 metre old style ones for $15

I'm still wary of buying any lightning cables from Kogan after last time. All 3 of them stopped working after a few uses. Unless they've now replaced them all with MFI certified ones?

    • I bought a couple from Kogan in the past, they all died a very quick death.

not sure what this "MFI" means.

      • I believe it's Apple's shorthand for "Made For iPhone".

If only they weren't white so I could tell the difference between my shitty eBay cables and my MFI cables.

Considering I've read that manufacturers have to pay a bucket load for MFi certification that pretty much precedes them from being any less than nearly $10/cable at the cheapest I can't see how Kogan can sell proper MFi for $3 a cable…..Hope I'm wrong but I can't see how that's possible

    • Not to mention, Apple is highly unlikely to certify a cable design that is a "physical clone" of their genuine cable.

    • all gone

  • After hearing some bad reviews here on ozbargain, I'm undecided if I should buy the cables.

  • Miss this :-(

  • I've bought the regular length MFi certified lightning cable before, and it's been working great so far…

  • Did @jv miss out?

  • Man should get kogan to provide more.

  • meh i just bought the 3 pack for $15

  • Last lot of cables I purchased from kogan died very quickly… ordered some more but they never arrived… they promised some more would be sent… never arrived… never again kogan!

    • Hi @outofdateyesterday - we're sorry to hear this but would be happy to resolve. Please send us a private message with your Order ID and we'll get straight on it.
