Optical, coax or RCA.
This is an outgoing model, hence the price cut.
It's surprisingly good for what it is, but obviously can't compete with separate speakers.

Needs Optical, No BT. Its not too bad, I didn't actually mind the new sony Sound plate seemed to have more bass and was around $329 from memory with B.T
Bose is a good deal
This is the outdated model .. Sound is ok, but remote is horrible and no BT , no HDMI makes it very limited.
For a bit more I'd get the Bose GS.
Like above … I ended up getting the Sony Soundplate. Much fuller sound, HDMI link, BT (play music from my iPhone), very happy with it!
