    not sure why anyone would buy the Ultra USB when the newer Fit is smaller and faster for about the same price.

      Because my Ultra 16GB has put up with almost hell, OSes, you name it. My Fit 32 died after 2 days and almost burned the inside of one of my laptop's USB ports it got so warm. It was also slower for file transfers than the Ultra.

        You were just unlucky. Sandisk is a reliable brand. Specs of the fit are FASTER than the ultra, PERIOD.

          reliable… not really. I've had a $50 Cruzer have it's USB connector come off in a computer and it was out of its warranty period (12M) by 8 days. That was 2 years ago. I swore I wouldn't buy SanDisk again. I bought my Ultra. It was good. I liked it. It has survived and even helped me install Windows 10 on my tablet. I bought the Fit. It died. Never again, SanDisk.

      Not 100% sure, but from what i saw. Other shops currently ~$270. If you are after this particular one right now, then its a good price.
      Cheapest ever? Maybe not. You can also get other brands for cheaper sometimes.
