      Ta, TA.

Are you referring to the Magic ?

      • Jesus christ I don't even know why you got downvoted that many times. I had a Tata Sumo at one point lol

Also thanks OP - the mega meals are pretty bloody filling.

        • I don't even know why you got downvoted that many times

          Ex-Tata owners…

  • They have been posted already, just before august started I think. Your version is much clearer, thank you :)

    • Do you have the link please. Best to ensure this isn't a dupe.

      • I think this is it mate, love your work though ;)

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/204850

EDIT: no difference besides expire date and location, may as well add both to your description then seeing as the other set seems to last a while longer

        • The previous deal didn't include veggie burger.

        • EDIT: no difference besides expire date and location

          So, some difference then ;)

  • Silly question probably, but whats the best way to use these? Print and cut out or just save to phone and show them?

    • Just ask for it. Hide phone unless they ask to see voucher. Turn on phone screen and smile :+)

Using Microsoft Paint, carefully crop out each individual coupon. Wait for the next Big W Photo Mug deal and get each coupon printed onto it's own mug. Collect the mugs from your local Big W store for free pickup. When you're feeling hungry, take the mug with the desired coupon to the nearest Hungry Jack's and exchange it for your discounted fast food. Better still keep a few tucked in your wallet if you every feel hungry for a bargain when you're out and about.

you know what. +1 for your efforts.

        • now that would be funny to see :).

    • Some will accept when you show them on your phone, but some won't.

So just to be safe, it's better to just have them printed out and cut em.

I've never been rejected showing them my phone in Brisbane.

I honestly think they will accept anything, even if its expired.

The mobile website says "Show on your phone in-store to redeem".

      • Link

        • Never mind, found them

    • I noticed that HJ's have a new app/phone friendly website that is these same vouchers but "Show on your phone and redeem".. I've bookmarked it on my phone home page.

  • used it today.. you can always download the latest on the website

Have you guys noticed that the free refills machines are suddenly disappearing?

    • +1

I still remember the free refill machine at the Swanston St store in Melbourne, oh wasn't that well used!

I had a few interesting friends who thought of ingenious ways of reusing the Hungry Jack's cups. Although I didn't have a chance to visit the City as regularly back then, some of those ideas included sealing the internal seams of the paper cups with petroleum jelly, concealing stronger cups inside the Hungry Jack's cup, and some even went as far as lining the cup with cling wrap.

So I guess it's not too much of a surprise the machines are vanishing…

i saw an old guy full up a 2 litre jug

        HJ auburn what a mess

    • You can still go to the counter and ask for a free refill. I did just a week ago when I noticed machine was gone.
Some stores did have a sign that youre entitled to one free refill not a bottomles guzzlefest

Too many people buying 1 cup for 5 people. I got no issue with the stores setting a limit/removing the self serve fillers…. as usual a few dumbasses ruining it for the rest of us.

  • Better of using shake and win for the most part.

    • I can never win anything really good on this app anymore. :(

      • +1

Are you aware that you can't redeem the same prize twice? To fix this, for android you need to go into your phone settings > apps > HJ shake&win > clear data > uninstall.

Then re-install the app from app store and all the prizes will be available again. I've won heaps of free stuff like this.

        • I use it on iphone and I always win freebies! Same ones over and over again, plus every now and then they update and I get more added! What a hassle for the android version..

        • you can't redeem the same prize twice

I'm not sure what you mean. I've shaked multiple Free Coke and Free Fries from my local without reinstalling the app.

I guess that there's a difference between winning and redeeming — I don't redeem unless they ask me to.

        • @31974: Yep, if you don't redeem it then it stays in the prize pool.

  • I notice the local one on curtus rd munno para doesnt have a refill machine but the one at elizabeth still does

  • I had a look on the website last week and they weren't there and nothing on OzBargain either except the NSW/ACT vouchers. Maybe someone at HJs forgot to publish them on the website. Seems weird they would post vouchers valid for a week.

  • They coupons aren't really that great anymore. I don't buy anything from there anymore.

not sure what id do with two whoppers as a meal. id say a better deal would be a meal for one at a decent price.

      • +1

Two Whoppers is easy to knock off.

        • +2

Maybe age is catching up with me. Because lately I've done very badly at my local buffet.

  • Great. This coupon covers Veggie burgers too, unlike the previous deal.

    • I thought any whopper deal could be substituted for a vegie whopper ?

      • It wasn't mentioned in the previous coupon and so the Wenty hungry jacks didn't let me substitute.

        • Ahh bastards…

Thank you Tightarse - have just printed out yours, as believe it or not , our local HJ has suddenly started taking the voucher when it's applied for - that hasn't happened for years. However, the one thing Hubby & I love now is the sudden benefit of a seniors card as we can also have a free coffee each with any purchase ( this applies to Maccas too )We don't eat at either very often, probably once a fortnight after shopping - but to beable to get 2 whoppers with cheese, 1 large fries & 2 cappuccinos for $10.65 makes it all worthwhile !! You know, sometimes getting older does bring benefits - even though we own a very successful business & still pay our taxes, we're now allowed concessions & discounts for many everyday living expenses & purchases.Ha Ha - Go the grey brigade !!

    • I look forward to wielding senior's card power too!

    • The free coffee is a great marketing tool - they just want to keep you awake so you come back for another round of Hungry Jacks lol

The marketing is better at Hungry Jacks!
