      • -4

        NO !!!

      • jv is regretting selling his car

  • Great find! We use this car wash often as it's close by.

  • Just a heads up, the response came into my junk mail…

    • Mine too :)

      • It came from worldsecuresystems.com

    This is a steal

  • This will get ozbargained and there is no way they will honour all of these free wash codes.

    • +1

Why wouldn't they. The rep posts here too giving away free washes… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/grandwashauto.com.au

      • Awesome, my mistake. Yay!

    • +2

no way they will honour all of these free wash codes.

Yeah, they might run out of water…

      • +1

        That's neither clever nor funny.

        • +4

          aint you being too optimistic?

  • They also have a deal for 1 free car wash per week for a month for those who got their Ls and Ps.

    • Awesome neil. Thanks!

    • -2

for those who got their Ls and Ps.

      Hasn't everyone ????

      • +1

for those got their Ls and Ps…within the last 6 months. Pretty much the only time I washed my car on a regular basis was when I first started driving. Can't recall washing my car within the last decade.

        • That's what the rain's for ;-)

  • +1

free bonus scratches - should be in title

    • You know this because…?

    • +2

True, after doing a lot of research on car detailing and speaking with car detailing professionals I will only ever hand wash my car myself. Would never go to Hoppy's or anything similar.

  • Will they steal stuffs from your car too when they wash it as part of their business motto?

  • +3

Also, Welcome to Thornbury, the permanent food truck place and beer garden has just opened up next door. Good time to try out both.

    • OzB Melbourne catchup?

    • Gave Welcome to Thornbury a try on Friday night. The place is massive. Good beers on tap and good selection of food trucks. Could've done with some live music or any music at all but being the 1st night, i'll let it slide. Will definitely go back.

      • Good beers on tap and good selection of food trucks.

'Salmon Ella' is worth a try next week…

        • ? Unless 'Salmon Ella' actually is a place (really bad choice of name if it was) then i'm not sure what your comment is about. A couple of the food trucks there such as Mr Burger (who are the ones bank rolling the place) have been doing the rounds of Melbourne for quite some time so i don't think that that is an issue and it's certainly not from the beers…

  • Sweet! Close to my home.

  • Why does it take 7 days to email the code? Are they screening the survey?

    • Why does it take 7 days to email the code?

      They're with Exetel….

  • +1 just for the name 'Grand Wash Auto'. can't use the deal - unless i was my hertz hire cars while in VIC.

  • +1

dont think i want Franklin to clean my car

    • +4

Franklin owns the joint. Trevor will be washing your car.

      • +2

And Michael is the pestering salesmen.

  • Thank you again TA. Thank you.

  • Oops! too far from Clayton! anyway thanks OP.

  • expired?

completed the survey and only the first 300 get the free wash. I was apparently outside of the 300

  • Damn missed out!, I wash my Sti (car) here all the time.

  • Expired- Thank you for participating in the Grand Wash Auto Customer Survey.
Please note your survey response has been received after the first 300 so unfortunately we don’t have a FREE wash but your feedback is certainly appreciated.

    • +1

Yes. Do not fill in the survey. It is just a scam to collect the email addresses now.

Avast blocked the page as it is Malware ridden. Beware.

    • Even the email they sent is infected.

      • +2

Cool story. I too use Avast and had no issues whatsoever with the website, and how does a plain text email with no attachments present an issue? 1,000 clicks and you're the only one with this problem?

        • I've removed his neg.

        • -1

@Dagmar: Do you mean to say I am lying? On Ozbargain people don't have right of free speech anymore.
I have supported TA for so long then why would I neg a deal for the first time. Why is there a neg option if people can't even use it when there is a legitimate reason.

Edit: Just tried another computer and the same thing.

          @san_narula:

Just tried another computer and the same thing.

You probably have that new home network virus that has been going around the last couple of weeks.

On Ozbargain people don't have right of free speech anymore.

Yeah, yeah you do. But then we have a right, as a community, to revoke your neg if enough people disagree with you. Just because you claim free speech doesn't mean your claim is agreed and shared by others.

        • @jv: Any more info on that. And also explain why it would block grandwashauto and not others.

        • @Dagmar: You can do what you want as I don't care anymore.
I have no problem people negging my comment if they didn't experience the same issue as I did but removing a neg shows that ozbargain is very biased which I didn't know until now.
You may even remove this comment as I am expecting lots of negs again.

There is no right to free speech in the Australian constitution.

          @san_narula:

Wait, wait, wait. Do you think I'm a moderator? I removed your neg with my neg (being the 6th neg on your comment). I don't represent OzBargain or its admin team.

        • @Dagmar: Alright, its the Ozbargain thing then, didn't know about this. I thought you are a mod.

P.S- I did send the link to a friend and his AV reports it as infected so don't know what's going on here.

  • Noooo…. I missed out the deal, my car will always dirty without the caring of grand wash auto :'(

  • Anyone received their code yet??

    • Yep. Got mine on the 20th.

      • hmmm never got mine :(

        • You're welcome to have my pin, as I won't be needing it. PM me if interested :)

  • I have use the code today. It is very well setup and the experience is great. It is different to what you get from most drive in wash. The process is quick, smart, but very clean and gentle to the vehicle. The negative side is that the car wash is set up next to a Garden and Building supplies outlet. That place is rather dusty. I came out smiling but was soon wiped off my face when I have to drive through this dusty road to get out while the vehicle is still damp.
