Billabong Beach Pop-up Tent $24 (RRP $60) Delivered @ Surfstich eBay Store

120

Hi
Was eyeing this for awhile. A pop-up beach tent perfect for the beaches and picnics, away from the sun. Would be needing this shortly with spring around the corner.

It ain't for camping but ease of use and portability is a big bonus.

Their website actually has it on sale but their eBay store has it with free shipping

Don't know about the quality but I figured a free 30 day return would help ease the worries. And its billabong do surely it would be at least acceptable.

Update - sold out. That was pretty quick.

These are Ok if there is no wind.

  • these are ok if you don't set them up on the beach in front of people already there.

    • Anyone doing such a thing deserves to have the material analysed for them :)

  • I don't need one, but I just bought one! WHY??

The best thing about these shades is watching other people try to fold them back up.
Definitely a knack that not all people can grasp.

    • Agree. Got one generic one and took me awhile to fold it back in.
This YouTube video actually helps in principle. But not exactly the same design.

That's a pretty average price unless you're a brand snob. Also, without vents in the sides you'll get hot real quick in summer.

    • It's no a closed tent. Why do you need vents? I can't imagine hot air being trapped in this one.

      • First off, I'm talking Queensland summer. If you're seeking shelter from the sun on the beach you want to be within the three walls. And, of course, you want to face the ocean. If it's onshore you'll get a nice breeze but probably leave soon anyway because the surf won't be any good. Any other wind direction means the tent walls are going to keep any and all wind away from you and when it's 30 degrees in summer you want that breeze. I'm talking personal experience here but everyone's got to know for themselves right?

  • looks like sold out already. lucky was quick to dib 1

Got my pop-up tent today guys. It's big, bigger than the generic one I already have.

After 30minutes trying to fold it back in, this YouTube video will help

Previous video I posted was for a smaller tent.

    • Thanks - this worked perfectly!
