The D855 covers more of the Australian 4G bands, importantly band 28 700MHz.

This is the exact decisions I'm trying to make right now, after smashing my Nexus 4 for for the 3rd time in 12 months I've had enough, it's been a good 2 years with it but it's time to move on.
Seriously can't decide.
G flex 2 sounds like it's pretty good on 5.1.1, I thk I like the finish of the G3 a bit better though. But performance wise they look fairly equal (from about 2 hours of youtube research).
The frequency/bands has me a little worried with the G flex as it was never released here in Aus (apparenty), one ozbargainer mentioned that the new frequencies the telcos are using are not supported by the G flex 2..
we bought a few months back from https://www.mobileciti.com.au/ when they had a deal for around $400AUD.
Australian model, Australian LG factory warranty. Looks like they are a touch over $400 now.
