  This is a great game, wish all 16-bit remakes were as polished as this one (unfortunately the Australian developer, Sega Studios Australia, aka Creative Assembly Australia of Total War fame, got closed down shortly after release of this game).

  I've had plenty of playing this with my son on PS3, only complaint would be length, and difficulty of the last boss (at least for me! didn't have the timing or co-ordination to not make it a complete ordeal).

    Yeah the last boss was a pain… but, hey, at least you didn't have to start the game from the start again when you died :P

      Rediscovering that myself at the moment, dug out all my old consoles to restore (it's amazing how good an old SNES controller feels after it's been stripped, cleaned and had new rubber button caps installed) and play with my son.
