        Family day at the tip?

  • Did they stop selling PS4/Xbox stuff? I went into my local store a few weeks ago and it was all gone. They used to have the odd ridiculous console bargain back in the day. Much better than JB/HN etc..

    • I think most kids have the Wii/U and Ipad games/down loads now so probably that maybe phased out! Im no expert though.

      • From my experience all the 10 year olds are playing survival games on PC like Ark and H1Z1. They have no time for wii u and ipads because when they aren't on their PC they are with my mother :-(

What's the verdict on their Kids Bikes?
    http://www.toysrus.com.au/40cm-schwinn-alloy-score-bike_1009…

That one is $90 at my local TRU. I have no idea what "schwinn" is, as its sounds like something on Wayne's World. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szkgylvDYA4

Schwinn was the dominant bicycle manufacturer in America from the early 20th century through to the 1970's. The old bikes are classics and were very high quality.

Nowadays, it is owned by a huge multinational and the bikes are mass-produced in China. Schwinn in name only.

  • It isn't trampolines on sale it is only the trim kits to go over the trampoline - Trampoline, Netting & Padding sold separately

  • So u can't use gift card and u HAVE TO pay a delivery fee? Or can u collect from store?

    • I believe you can pay using an egiftcard.
If you have a store gift card, call the Toysrus Customer Service and they will happily create an egiftcard from your store gift card.
Regarding the delivery fee, I think it's pretty normal to pay for someone to deliver your items. If they were to provide free delivery I believe they would have to increase the product prices a bit, or maybe not.
"Click and Collect" thing is not available yet, maybe next year as a Christmas gift ;-)

      • The shipping is extremely expensive and negates much/all of the discount based on the purchases I wanted to make.. I managed to put in approx $700 worth of goods in my cart and shipping was almost $300…

Most online stores offer free shipping over a certain price and even if there are bulky items, this will be noted with a separate shipping cost.
