  A couple of things to consider because I know people froth over Beef Eater bbqs: These are their cheap entry level ones, much lower standard than than the next tier. The sides of the hood are like hard plastic. Also, on the more expensive models the hood becomes recessed into the bbq, this means the hood doesn't really protrude further than the base. This is not the case on this model and shouldn't put buyers off unless you park it against a wall for operation or have a smallish area where space is a premium. On inspection of the photos the base isn't really enclosed, it just somewhat concealed from the front with cloth.

  You won't find a better bbq than this for the money. I run a beef eater 1000I which is a 4 burner model. I've had mine since 2011 and unfortunately mine caught on fire once the hard plastic on the side must be fire proof up to a very high temp which must be over 250 degrees Celsius.

  You'll notice the difference in the hot plates compared to any other bbq on the market. I'm personally very fussy with bbqs but I know this will last people years!

    pretty sure I could find a better one… one that doesn't catch on fire would be a start
