50

One of the best noise cancelling on ear headphones I have used - could not travel without these. They are the old model (PXC 250 II out now) but there is not much which I can find which compares for this price

Sennheiser PXC 250 Active Noise Canceling Headphones (Reconditioned)

Recommended Retail Price (RRP) - $299.95 as of June 2015 based on a new product. (although I believe this is relates to the PXC 250 II which is $229 @ OW)

FEATURES
Fold & Flip Design Allows The Ear Cups To Be Turned Through 90°
Fold The Headphones Closed
1.8 M Kevlar-Reinforced Ofc
Copper Cable with 3.5Mm Jack Plug

When engaged, NoiseGard active noise reduction drops steady-state low-frequency noise (from about 500 Hz and below) by 15 dB—which the human ear perceives as more than halving the noise—thus enhancing the clarity of your music. The noise reduction circuit requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), but the headphones work fine without the circuit engaged.

Sennheiser's fold and flip design lets you turn the ear pieces 90 degrees and fold the headphones closed. Their ported design lets them move more air for greater bass response.

    Refurbished?

Might want to read about the broad definition of "refurbished" by Graysonline experience, and don't forget about cash rewards if you do decide to purchase.

  • I bought some of these from CotD a few years ago, they're not very good. Useless on an aeroplane to block noise as the earpads are too small to cover the ear, and because they have a large battery box in the middle, they are very combersome to use and tangles are frequent, especially if you're trying to charge your iPod at the same time as use it!

    • Sounds like common sense, in ear and over ear would logically be the only style with any chance of working.

      • Actually the Bose QC3 work perfect on-ear and give a better seal for me that both in and over ear (I have both in other brands for day to day use).

Would definitely not be putting these near my ears (if they are in the same condition as those DVD players).

I was interested until is saw it was from Graysonline :(

    • What's the problem with graysonline? I was thinking about getting some bathroom fittings from there?!??

      • Too many to list here. This is one example, I have bought a refurbished wireless headphone from them once and it was faulty with poor reception and grainy sounds. I have contacted them and they have asked me to deliver to them at my own expense. The cost for delivery is almost the price of the headphone.

  • Bought these from Greys EBay store a couple weeks ago to replace my broken PXC 200's. In my case I found the noise cancelling and overall performance better than expected….except the damn cables always tangle.
