Have not done much research on a similar product, but like the idea of WIRELESS connection, also comes with 3 Year Warranty, which is a plus, similar products generally come with max 1 yr warranty. Please rectify the post, if you have more details.

      splice the camera into reverse light wiring, plug in screen/mirror, done.

    Avoid the car black box recorder. Any that have built in IR LED are crap. They need to be sensitive enough to work without any additional LEDs, because 6 little LEDs behind the windscreen aren't going to anything compared to a cars headlights or street lights.

    The reversing camera is very easy to install. Just connect the camera wire into the reversing lights. The screen mounts on the rear view mirror easily and plugs into the cigarette lighter. Works allright.

      So they generally give enough wire to run around the edge of the windscreen and trim to make it to the cig lighter?
      I'd just fear there would be issues wireless connection but I guess it's only 2m or so.
      It would be good if the site gave more specs like resolution but I still think this is worth a look in store as the price is right

    The reverse mirrors arnt big sellers. If you hang off a few weeks you should be able to get it for $79.00 when they reduce them.
    Agree Easy to install. I think I paid $69on clearance

      Always quite a gamble though as depends on stores/areas and they may have less stock than a previous time

        Correct. Mine was a impulse buy. Glad I got it works well. A little dark when comparing to genuine mirror.

          Iv got mine in a Navara D40 duel cab. Is a fair bit wider then original mirror which Imo was too small. Now I can see all of back window

    Don't touch the dash camera! They are worth all of $12 posted. The battery in them also swells and cracks the housing. $50 will get you a Novatek 96650 based unit on a good day.

        Somewhere else. But if you want to blow your money on it when there are some perfectly acceptable (if not worlds most popular) dashcams out of China for roughly the same price, go right ahead.

          I already own a Dashcam, just wanted to clarify if your one was the same as this Aldi one, which it isn't.
          There are lots that look the same as this model but the internals are different.

    I have both the reversing camera and black box. The camera is easy to install i connected the camera to the trailer jack, you will have to locate the pin for the reversing light. The image quality and angle is very good. Havent used it much as i took it off and haven't found time to put it back on.
    The black box works very well. Video quality in daylight is very good but only average at night. The battery will not last as it will swell in the heat if parked in the sun.I have gone through a couple of batteries. It still works without it,but you loose the last recording and the clock starts from 12.00 every time.

    Hi
    Picked up the aldi reverse camera and its great. i want to use my own my own camera with the mirror but the wireless transmitter has this connection.(http://www.jeiyipcable.com/c273.html(what is this connector called its the one that has 4 pins inside it?))
    I need a adapter that goes from that connection to rca so that I can plug my camera in.
