I just finally grew up and unsubscribed from the Kogan mailing list!
I figure I don't need the daily reminders from Dick Smith, Shopping Square and Kogan etc, coz if the bargain is any good it'll be on Ozbargain anyhow!

Thanks for the therapy session :)

  • $644 shipped from Kogan's eBay store using CVIPTREAT.

Same price from the good guys BUT not in gold only white and black.

    • Do you have a link?

      • go to the good guys on ebay and when buying enter the code thats on every deal just about for 20% off.

Kogan don't honour warranty. I would buy from the Good Guys. You can at least take it back to the Good Guys whereas Kogan is online. I had to take Kogan to court to get warranty, it's been 5 months and almost over but not quite. If it's the same price go Good Guys.

Agreed, Samsung will not support the warranty if purchased from Kogan. And Kogan are hopeless at support. I would avoid kogan for phone purchases.

Agreed, Kogan + Warranty = You Crying.
If you were to go Grey Stock, I'd recommend T-Dimension, their warranty is so much quicker and you don't have to pay for return postage, they simply give you a Fedex Acct Number and you charge the shipping to them.

    • Hi WiseUp. All products sold by Kogan.com are fully covered by a nationwide Kogan warranty. Please PM me your order detailss and I will have one of our supervisors look into this for you.

      • I second that. Had very good experience with Kogan warranty. I received refund for my faulty Z3 in no time.

PS: I am not associated with Kogan and had serious concerns before I bought from them. However, no complains. Their rep was even communicating with me over email on a Sunday.

        • Though unrelated, last time there was a big deal on I bought a MBP 15inch from kogan. They held my $2300 for over 30 days and said they had dispatched it. Then said, they had no more stock left even though they were still listing the item on ebay. So, I can't second that.
I also bought an oral irrigator and it's pressure dropped. They said, "Take it to an electronics repair shop". Cheap prices are luring but I agree, go Good Guys.

      • Some Samsung Galaxy S6 phones state "24 Month Manufacture Warranty" …. others do not … are they all standard with 24 months Samsung warranty and the text was just omitted? Sorry, I'm new so am not very sure.

  • Wished the Galaxy Note 5 is out already…

    • Its gonna be out by next week Friday. Patience is a virtue.

Watch out for the S6 autofocus issue - Virgin reckon there's nothing wrong with mine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nFlw9540O4

    • Haven't had that issue on mine yet. Nor has anybody I know of has experienced it.
Maybe it is even faulty hardware, the autofocus is busted I guess.

  • Anyone have a link to Goodguys eBay store? I cant see the item for the same price as Kogan, I see $899 for 32GB so works out to be $720?

So $850 for a Gold S6 128GB from Kogan direct … anyone find this on the eBay store??

    **** Quote from Kogan:
"This is official Australian stock with an Australian manufacturer’s warranty, and may contain Optus software upon installation"
