    Rubbish.

Disappointing that it's dual core. Stick an SSD in, more RAM and a CD/DVD SATA adapter for the HDD and you're all set.

Edit: Also hardly a deal as $299 is RRP.

you could get refurbished Dell Inspiron 14- 3000 with 4gb ram (faster) for $249 delivered , if you are lucky enough.

aus post shouldnt sell too many things which cant be sold at the end, instead better focus on reducing cost and bring postage prices down.

Agree. Poor value laptop compared to the $200 laptop I bought from Big W last year - Core i3 CPU, 4Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD, 15.6" screen :P

all the effort, to source the supplier, print catalogue, advertising, deliver some samples/demos to the stores maybe, recording in the system, human resources.. at the end? unsold inventory. then complaining the aus post not making money and need to increase stamp prices

        • They should have stamps @ $2 ea. I haven't posted anything for 5 years. As for those that do… there are always better ways to do things.

        • @Neo: I agree. Stamps are way too cheap for what you get in these days of electronic comms.

Well, I'm just reporting it, not promoting it. It'd be fine for my granny to do emails and look at her porno web sites, oops, I mean crocheting web sites.

pics or it didn't happen. I MEAN CROCHETING WEBSITES!

    • UNBELIEVABLE !!! I'M OUTRAGED, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THE WORD…. CROTCHeting !!!

    Thanks OP.

    Celeron! Stay away! Seriously.

  • for $300 you may as well buy a reputable cheap chinese tablet that does dual boots!

  • But it says "HOT PRICE". Surely that means it's a bargain?

All you people are failing as consumers because you're not doing what you're told.

  • My first inkjet printer cost that much back in the day…

Rubbish computer to be sure. Just amazing to think how far we've come.
