    • Would you believe it? its $249 at Aldi EdgeCliff.. just saw it 10 mins ago but didnt take photo…

For those in Sydney CBD, the Aldi is within the train station bounds so you can get there in 10 mins.. possibly free travel for OzBs with OPAL

  • My work mate came into Aldi Braybrook store early this morning. They did not have it on shelf. When he asked, the staff took it out from underneath the counter.

So if you want it, I reckon you have to be quick as it seems like they have limited stock available.

  • Useful reviews over at Product Review for those looking at making the purchase. Seems to be some issues with GPS Software, but otherwise mine is working great.

    • What navi software is preinstalled on it and do you by any chance which OS?

    Meh…

Love the Orion unit some of us were lucky enough to get from JB!

    • +2

The JBS one is working perfectly too :)

    • Darn, I missed that boat :(

  • Looks good but how much to get it all installed (in Sydney)?

    • Doubt it that it's to hard to do it on your own

  • +1

These units are very cheap these days - its the labour that kills it.. :( Unless you either know someone who will do it cheap or you got an old bomb that doesnt link the transponder and car lock out to the head unit, then you're in luck.

  • I bought one before but the cheapest I could find to install it was around $200-$300 so returned it.

Sure I could have found someone cheaper to do it but then I was worried it would be dodgy work

    • do it yourself.

      • I don't know how :(

        • google

          That's how I learnt it

Once you learnt it, you can replace all your future devices in your car/s

  • what so different to those units on eBay?

    • Local warranty, change of mind returns, and so on. I also haven't even seen one eBay for that little with all the features.
