Or is it a micro usb cable, with lighting adapter.

    • Good point. Title updated. Thanks.

MFI is dubious, but paid with paypal..

  • seems to be the going price for variants of this cable

    $1 Delivered for iPhone 4/5/5s & microUSB

    • This one is 'supposedly' MFi approved.

        Where do you see this?

I have one of the cables you are posting. It is terrible. Charging speed is horrible and barely fits in a non-lightning apple product. Not saying this one is any better but worth a try. And, at the end of the day even if it isn't very good, at least it is a meter long, not the short little thing.

I bought one to give it a try.

        Depends what you prefer.

I hate long cables as it creates spaghetti on my desk/floor

I use 1 USB extender and all other cables and short. Much more tidy like that

After adding the coupon, the price goes down to the said A$1.34. But when proceeding to the checkout page where I enter credit card details, the price stated is the original price at A$5.21…

      Same here.

    I got a paypal error.

  • Maybe I am missing seeing something.

However, where is the claim that this is Made for iDevices certified?

The only mention I can see is "Identification: MFI". Which is hardly a claim of MFi certification.

With no brand name/manufacturer given, there is no way to check if the cable is on the Apple list of certified products.

    Expired? Doesn't work

I'm not really convinced with this type of design, especially if you wanted the Lightning bit so you'd always need to have the longer rigid end plugged into the (say) iPhone. I'd prefer a design where the extension was "bendy"to avoid stress on the joining portion or at the iPhone's port.

I get the following error when paying by paypal.com (which is not paypal.com.au)

PayPal gateway has rejected request. This transaction couldn't be completed. Please redirect your customer to PayPal (#10486: This transaction couldn't be completed).

Where (other than the OP's dubious mention of "MFi Lightning") is it even claimed that this cable is Mfi Certified?

  • Just received mine. Seems to be of quality build and works just fine. Best thing is I only need to carry one cable around now, as I can charge both my iPhone (lightning) & my powerbank (micro USB).

    • My one came today but will not charge iOS 9 devices, guess it's refund time.

Edit: if I put the adapter on a different USB cable it does charge .. And the mini USB works as it charges my other phone… But the combination of this cable and the adaoter does not work on iOS 9 … No idea why the parts all work ok on their own but not when put together, odd.

      • Hi Pobman. You had me concerned. Just updated my iPad Air 2 to iOS9 and the cable charges fine.

        • Yeah I don't understand why each part works on its own but not together, I will see what their support says.

        • Seems to be a fault in the USB cable itself. They have not replied to support request at all, not a good start, so will put in a PayPal complaint and go that way.

          @tightarse:

Did not think to try them here, silly me using their official support page! :)

Ok will try here and give it a few more days.
