Logitech G27 Racing Wheel PC/PS3 $275 Free Post @ Logitech Shop

130

Was looking around for a racing wheel set to setup a sim rig and came across this bargain! I know the new versions have come out (at double the price with less inclusions) But for the price of this kit, what you get and the fact these are becoming hard to find nowadays, it will be worth snapping one up! Have checked around and most places still sell them for between $330 - $380 plus post.

No ps4 support, stuff you and your shop Logitech.

    • With no PS4 or XBone support, these things should be selling for peanuts.

Don't blame logitech though - it is Sony/Microsoft that have caused this issue.

      • Logitech couldn't just come out with an adapter? They had to make a complete new wheel (which is a reshell of this when)

        • logitech has more to gain by not providing support.

They can sell newer g29 to g27 owners who want to play on ps4…

I suspect logitech did not want to pay sony licensing to get support for it on ps4, since older thrustmuster works on ps4…

        • @tyler.durden: agreed

        • @Where's_That_Cake:

how can we trust to buy another logitech wheel that might not work in ps5 etc..

that's why I am just sticking to pc racing + g27…

Also they are even more greedier this time by not including shifter for g29…
and there hardly much improvement with g29

Just a waste of money to give them another approx $450 to logitech…

    • It's not the seller's fault.

        It's Logitech.

There are converters available to connect the wheel to the ps4, but doesn't bother me - I run a PC!

    • Those converters don't work properly though.

      • yeap
        From what I read..
the converter has issues with deadzone and buttons don't work properly..

    • apparently they are not that great, ISR did a review and found washed out force feedback etc

  • Anyone know the reason why these won't work with the PS4?

    • Something about Sony requiring better security for its supported peripherals, from what I've read.

      • it's just a scam to make more money for logitech

        • yeah its bullshit… logitech stand to gain more by not making the g27 compatible

however they did hint that they may have a go again once GT7 comes out

which comes first though? that or the zombie apocalypse?

    Good deal for PC users.

Obsolete. Should sell for only $50.

    • Still an excellent wheel for PC users. Easily worth $300. There's hardly any actual sim racing games on console anyway

Got mine for about $180 with eBay sales earlier in the year. Its been around that price quite a few times and with the G29 released you'd think you would only see it more.
Would probably hold off till its around $200 again unless you need it right now.

    • is this DSE at $180? might wait a bit then

      • DSE don't even list the G27 on their website anymore (they had it for $250 about a week ago).

  • Perfect timing! Just as i've been looking at buying a g27 second hand. Might just pay a bit extra and get a new one with free shipping.

    • If you're in Perth I'll sell you mine. Barely used

  • Wow these are expensive full price. I bought mine a few years ago for my son for under $100 new and it is basically still new. I should have bought a dozen of them to resell.
