  • Thanks to the tax payers and regular users of public transport who are paying for this.

Yeah instead of subsidising the network for 75% of the costs they're subsidising it for 100% of the costs on this one particular day.

  • Is the free rides just for the Royal Show (ie you'd have to show some Royal Show tickets) or its free across the entire Transperth Network as per the Title?

      and

The free travel day will be in place across the Transperth system (bus, train and ferry) on September 28, so there’s no need to tag on or buy cash ticket.

  • Given the six monthly fare increases?

Unless the PTA self-funds maintenance and capital works through fares, I won't be thanking the government for allowing PTA to rort public transport users the other 364 days of the year.

People still go to royal show?geez

    • i like to go once every several years, just to remind myself what i'm not missing out on all those other years ;)

    • One day expenses probably pay for a one way ticket to Disneyland, after which you'll never want to return to the Royal Show again!

I was thinking about going, but adult tickets are $25! I'm sure I can see people chop wood for less.

  • Anyone know the best place to park up? We'll be over that way for this.
