The last one I actually saw advertised last week, I think that dude just bought at the wrong time lol.
Seen the same with a ps4 bundle, guy bought one bundle thinking he'd get 50 on each game, next week the games dropped to 19 each at EB games on sale and he was struggling to get 15 a piece lol

Worth it.
Was worth it at full price; excellent game if you like exploration and sandboxes.
play the demo, not bad even those were intro stages to get the mechanics
if you like exploration and sandboxes.

I'm sick of buying a game then spending $20-$50 on add-ons to get the full experience!
@yacman: Haven't heard anything about a GOTY version, and its DLC finished a while ago. There's a $25-ish season pass that includes everything, but I've seen it go on sale for 50% off on Xbox Live before.
@AXiS: does the DLC add much to the game though?

In answer to your question though (which I assume is for The Taken King only and for an Australian account), Bungie are not very helpful or forthcoming with information. The current theory regarding cheapest price is to buy the cheapest physical copy of the Legendary Edition which it is speculated to include the DLC as codes for the season pass (DLC 1 + 2) and The Taken King. Then sell the disc (and season pass if you don't need it) on gumtree for whatever you can get for it. If you're lucky, this might make TTK less than $40.
For those considering buying Destiny for the first time; don't. You are not missing out on anything apart from being ripped off buy a developer who doesn't seem to know what they are doing. If you want to play a grind game, play Warframe (advice, wait for update 17 to hit the consoles, it's amazing). It's cheaper, stable and gives you 100x the content, also the community is (imho) more mature in Warframe ie less 12 year olds who are just playing Destiny until the next CoD comes out.
That's a crazy price on the Halo game, cheapest ever if i'm not mistaken.
Picked mine up from a cash converters for $25. Don't regret it. Played through 1 and 2.
It was bundled with forza and a controller for 74 delivered from bigw before.

I went in, it wasn't on the shelves but I asked the guy at the tech counter and he had all the copies back there. I got it for $69 AND it was Day One Edition.

FYI - the (profanity) at EB Games Firle didn't want to prime match MGSV for $69 without seeing the live online catalogue showing the price (which isn't there yet). however, EB Games Arndale had them selling out the door like hotcakes at the matched price.
I haven't shopped at EB for years. Not worth it, too much of a hassle and some of the staff get petty over price matching. Can always find cheaper prices online and in other stores.
Picked up MGS 5 on PS4 and Forza Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive on the Xbox One for a total of $109. Which is $1 less than EB is selling MGS5 alone for lol.
Its amazing how EB can justify their sale for $110 just for 1 game..LOL
