yes i know… i now have a pile of SSDs and microsds I dont need.

        • Can play lego with them?

        • Gimme some plz lol

    • Fool you? What I miss?

  • Why is MicroSD? Why so many MicroSD cards on sale or on special but no SD cards??!!

    • +2

Use the included adaptor to get an SD card… 2 in 1. solved.

    • +2

Gives you the flexibility of using them on devices that accepts MicroSD or SD with an adapter.

      • Ok, that makes sense. But since there's the "adapter" in between, will it perform as good as the same size same speed SD card??

        • +2

the adapter does not affect the speed of the MicroSD card as it is essentially just wire traces

  • 25m Cat6e for only $18! Wow!

    • It was $17 in their last deal :)

      • You couldn't pay me $17 to take a Cat6e cable off your hands…

        • +1

I don't really understand what you saying?!??

        • +2

          @chengjianer:

Namely because CAT6E is not a recognized standard by the Telecommunications Industry Association, and officially speaking there is 'no such thing' as CAT6E. Discussion

The CAT6E specification is thus falsely advertised and used as a sales ploy which unscrupulous manufacturers usually brand onto their products to fool less savvy consumers into thinking their cable is faster and better than ordinary CAT6 cabling.

          @scrimshaw:

Thanks for enlightening me! I have been fooled for so long! :)

        • @scrimshaw: Yeah I consider myself pretty tech savvy, and never knew that. Just lucky I'm too much of a cheapskate for anything other than CAT5E :)

        • @scrimshaw: but "cat6e" is still CAT6 isn't it? Enough to run 10gbe?

          Edit: maybe not,

      • Thanks, checking it out now b

        • Wait, I have sata drive at home can't use that.
          They look the same :(
          Or are they different?

        • @SlipKnot:

Are you referring to a SSD Or a desktop 3.5" HDD?

If the latter just navigate back to the 3.5" enclosures.

If an SSD or 2.5" notebook hard drive then the link I provided suits both

  • Webstore shows no stock for the microsd.

    http://www.msy.com.au/peripherals/14601-sandisk-sdsdquan-032…

  • We have dropped the price of the SSD to $68 to match last time promotion price.

    Thank you

    • Thanks. Updated to reflect price change.

  • All sold out in-store and online. Just rang a couple of stores in Melbourne.

    • VIC branches should have at least 20 of these SSDs instock at the moment (not sure why they told you no stock).

We will allocate more stocks to branches this afternoon

      Thank you

      • not sure why they told you no stock

  • I will not buy from this store. Went to their ACT store to pickup the item I bought online after receiving the email confirmation in the afternoon. But when I arrived, they told me that the item has been sold in the morning. no apology or anything. Also made a complaint online but no response either.
