      Yes, I have found them very good for frying whole trusses of tomatoes at once.

      I've had quite a few frying pans over the years, including some from Tefal. I find that regardless of the price and coating they seem to last only a few years even if you handwash them. Thus, these will be more than adequate.

        Agree with bird. The Raco frying pan from a previous deal is quite good though. The grooved surface really adds to the non-stick property. And is much lighter compared to Tefal.

  I have used tefal over the years and find that there are usually two qualities sold at the chains, the cheaper version with a bakelite handle (was called Performa but think it is called a "So Tasty" now) and one with a stainless steel handle (called "Gourmet Anodised"). I have found the Stainless steel handle version is so much better than the other (longer lasting, more durable), that it is the only version I buy. I wait until tefal is having a half price special and just buy the size I need then.
