It costs next to nothing to make the drink at a factory level. But for the last couple of years, a dollar a can at the supermarket ON SPECIAL is pretty much the new norm.
I still would never lay $2 a can in a deal like this, but honestly, they could have done a markup a lot worse. I'm also glad, long live 5.50 quarter and chips, the day you're forced into 7.50 with a tinnie is the day I lose interest too.

Old people remember when the box around the chicken was filled with chips. Now you get a tiny amount.
