    $1565 for a desk with a melamine top…how much for solid timber top?

    Yours are a LOT more expensive than varidesks. Why would anyone buy yours over the latter?

    It comes down to personal preference. Varidesk has great standing desks and I am after customers who are after quality standing desks at competitive prices.

    I am more about quality than volume.

      I have one of varidescks and their mat for about a year. No issues, works perfectly.
      Just wonder if you can explain what exactly involves better "quality", so you double the prices tag (not saying about mat's price o_O).

    I have the conset 501-11 and can attest to it's brilliance (I have the 1800cm) but I think this is pretty much retail for these desks ($1500). I paid a tad less than $1000 from another retailer (Total Office National).

    Give them a call instead. They're only around on weekdays. I was tempted to post a deal about it but never got around to it. Might ask them on Monday for permission first.

    I'd avoid the 501-15/501-25 (Total Office had them for $499 at one stage) as they're not stable if you have a multi monitor setup etc.

    Damn, seems better than my Varidesk addon which I just bought this week :(

    Here's a review of sorts of the Ergotron desktop workstation for ~$180 more than the Varidesk Pro Plus 36" it seems to be a lot more stable whilst typing in standing position and doesn't stretch out. I have to avoid typing hard to prevent monitor wobbles

    Also I'm 6'0 and my arms at 90 degrees are roughly 10cm above my keyboard at full height of the Varidesk with a 70cm desk height so its not truly ergonomic and my height adjustable monitor doesn't go up high enough in standing mode without a big book underneath it

      Thanks, I'll have a think about it :) In terms of presentation I think the Varidesk looks better but the Ergotron comes with a 5 year warranty vs 1 and seems to be of higher quality components for just a bit more
