Has been as low as $19.99 circa 2011-13 but I'm aware previous models have been recalled. In any case, always use jack stands.

Good price considering our dollar has tanked.

Love, Tafe

I've got one. Not a great jack but good if it works for you.

    • Working height range: 140 - 335mm

Won't fit under some small cars, and yet wasn't tall enough to get my 4WD's tyres off the ground.

      Buy 2, and stack them

Not if you zippy tie them.

i use my car's oem jack to lift it up a bit then slide the jack under.

also do the same when lowering the car so the jack doesn't get stuck :)

Good value at that price. Is both too high and too low as others mentioned, I finally got sick of mine after a few years and bought one of the arcam ones from Costco, dead ringer for the kingchrome one on the link above, but only about 169 + 60 for membership. Just incase anyone is looking for a few steps up on this one..

    • should have picked one up at costsco when they were being discounted last year.

If you have the Targeted $5.00, this may become that much cheaper if you buying the jack.

    • Good remembering. It expires today. Thanks, I was wondering how I was going to set my lower control arm height to do up the bushes while the jack is holding up the cross member. Cheers all!

As OP said, always use jack stands. The consequences of a jack failing whist being under a car is not pretty.

        • Absolutely. I use jack stands under the chassis rails, but I also need to lower the front cross member to get the control arms out of my BF Falcon and will use my existing jack to support it. I was wondering how I was going to level the arms before tightening them. This jack will help.

      • @AlisonP, I made my purchase yesterday so not to forget my $5.00.

  • Had two of these… one bought originally in Sydney and another in Adelaide where caught out with a flat tyre with no jack… not a great model - have since sold both of these on gumtree and got a bigger 500mm lift Aluminum jack for the garage.
