  Will play audiobooks on the device added via iTunes, which is good as when Apple moved audiobooks from Music to Books it broke the chapter title display.

  The 'free' audiobooks come from LibriVox public domain collection which can be downloaded any which way. For non-free, respective apps are free anyway.

    LibriVox recordings tend to be poorly narrated compared to commercial productions. But then they are done by hobbyists on an ordinary PC with just a cheap microphone. Still, they need to be thanked for putting in the effort to release free stuff to the masses. A poorly related audiobook is still better than a machine narrated one, though i do happen to have a few good text to speech (SAPI?) voicesets installed.

      Ivona is another good one.. Sometimes I prefer the text version because ivona TTS on Android is so good. Don't bother with the larger audio books

  Audiobooks are my life. At the moment I use free smartplayer on my iPhone 6+. There are more free options under android but fewer under ios. Will try this. Thanks.
