Do these helmets comply with the mandatory bicycle helmet standards in AS/NZS 2063:2008 ???

Does your doctor order you to wear a helmet at all times?

      • +8

No, but the law orders me to wear one whilst riding a bike.

    • No idea, could you clearly define what they entail?

Tbh these are kinda crap if you intend to make use of the camera. It is extremely poor quality. I bought my son one for his scooter antics and once I downloaded all good video files of I was shocked to find how put it was.

I paid $50 last Xmas for it.

No idea why you're being downvoted because helmet safety standards are a legitimate concern for many types of extreme sports. Here, have an upvote.

/Edit: Not only that, but the product description doesn't even mention what type of foam its using which makes it seem like safety isn't its priority.

      I agree.

Why would people think to neg such a valid question. have another +1

Also heres more to read on why, when, how saftey approval was enforced and why its important: http://cyclingtips.com.au/2013/04/australian-helmet-standard…

The only information I can find at some seller sites is

"Complies with U.S. ASTM and CPSC standard for bicycle helmets for persons after 8 and over."

    http://www.woot.com/offers/bult-benny-x3-helmet-w-built-in-v…

    • Yes found that too. But our saftey standards are not based on US ones so it would need to be tested here again since our own standards are apparently much higher..

  • The one I bought has AS/NZS 2063-2008 Standard for Bicycle helmets marked on it.
