      Maybe, starter pack is too expensive though (everywhere, not just here) so I'm not buying into it. I'll try and steer the kids into continuing with the Infinity range instead.

        most people pay about $80 just for an xbox one game.
        add in the 3 lego figures and the wheel and thats roughly $40 worth.
        im sure round xmas they will be cheaper as they will sell the starter packs as loss leaders to suck ppl into buying all the add on packs.
        $170 is a ridiculous price tho

          I'll pay $80 all up. Just because Lego doesn't mean we have to pay the price they are looking for. If it doesn't sell at this price they will drop it as Nintendo proved with the 3DS.

          Indeed, but high sales at release, especially on a product which as an adoption for anxillery elements you can sell. Does not seem to be a good idea.

          Especially when you compare it to skylanders or disney infinity. I just dont think many parents will pay the RRP for this, so unless they see it on special, its not going to have a high adoption rate.
