        an Australian Consumer Guarantee,
        higher resale value when it comes time to sell.

        so that it comes with an Australian power supply and not just an adapter, hate the adapters you get with grey market so you can use US power supply in Australia.

        Spend the $30 and get Australian.

        If you're gonna be dismissive and plain ignorant, then I won't respond to you. Go look up qd_au's reputation on whirlpool and eBay.
        Australians are extremely satisfied with them.
        I have bought three phones from them. Their warranty policy is good too. IN many ways, it's just as good as having local warranty, because you can send the phone back to their Australian office.

        For $30 more I can get the phone quicker, and have it repaired at the Samsung repair centre I'm my own state.

        So yes, I will be dismissive of someone promoting grey import over local stock when it's only a 5% saving.

        Oh and the local phone has a 2yr warranty, this one has a 1yr warranty, which requires returning to Sydney.

        If you don't think 1yr warranty, quicker post and local warranty service aren't worth $30 then I'm amazed.
