    When does the catalogue start?

    • Starts on Wednesday, lasts a week!

  • How long can you store Ben and Jerry's in a freezer? Also… how long until lactose intolerant disappears :(.

    • +4

Im sure you would have eaten it before it goes bad

    • +2

you can get some pills for lactose intolerance. My ex used to take them before dairy heavy meals so she can enjoy ice cream and frozen yoghurt etc.

  • Anybody know if this will be at all stores?

  • -3

Looks like "Squashed WA"… don't squash them. They're squashed by the death of the mining boom as it is!!

    • Other states/territories have not pulled their collective weight. Australia as a whole too dependent on the mining states of WA and QLD. Engine room of the Australian economy.

WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME HAIRY FARMER MAN?!

    Thanks OP!

    • I thought he was referred to as Caterpillar eye brow spud man not hairy farmer?

      • Haven't heard that one, but that works too :)

  • I know the catalogue starts in a couple days but fo they put thes out at this price earlier?

    • Doubt it, their tills are probably programmed to sell them for $3 from Wednesday. They are open at midnight though…

      • -2

They don't change at midnight. In the morning only

        • How do u know this? Are u an employee?

        • Deal is active from midnight, I just got back from there.

        • @Moj0:
I've shopped there after / at midnight before. Innaloo.. Others might be different

  • Wot are the top flavours? Havent tried B&J's yet.

    • I heard cookie dough is pretty nice but im a sucker for strawberry cheesecake

  • +2

    Potato flavour only though

    • +2

you should give stand-up a go

      • +1

They actually have a flavour called Couch Potato.

It has potato chips in it.

  • Dayum thats cheap! Somebody find the same deal in Sydney pls :)

  • Never had it before, but holy crap, its normally 12 bucks for less than half a litre?

That better be some exceptional ice cream….

  • Half Baked is the flavour to go with. It's a mix of the'r 2 best sellers, Cookie Dough and Chocolate Brownie. But stock up, one tub won't be enough!!

  • Awesome bargain! Thanks OP

  • 458ml normally for $11.99, are they for real? I never had it, but more than twice the regular price of connoisseur? Is it that good?

    • +1

Not really. It's all hype and good goyims.

    • -1

Nope, but people seem to love it.

    • +1

It's good but definitely not $12-13 good. It's so expensive cause its shipped from the US.

    • +1

It's very good but most people probably wouldn't think it's worth it, especially here.

It's very high quality ice cream (better than connoisseur imo) packed full of stuff. Like really huge chunks of real chocolate brownie. Would only recommend it if you're an ice cream nut or if you can try it out cheaply. It's extremely rich.

    • I love Ben and Jerry's, but it is very expensive here. Did have a lot of it when I was in the US a few years ago.

    • I know right, its ridiculous when compared to the current $7 connoisseur at Coles.

  • Its pretty good, depending on the flavour but the price is definitely way steep. Very. Extremely. Non-Ozbargainy.

Another option thats good, but the same or slightly cheaper, is Homer Hudson. Choc Rock is the best.

  • Best Ice Cream ever made, for $2.99 it's a steal! Buy in bulk!

I doubt these are included, but The new flavours are insane, Caramel-sultra and That's my Jam, can't pick between either!

Old flavours, Phish food is one of my favs

i guess there will be people camping outside the spudshed jandakot at 11pm tonight.

    • It's open 24 hours, so you can camp inside. Tony might not like that though haha

      • +1

        Midnight Party at all stores?

      • if there were any time to run out of queuing space in the store to necessitate camping outside, it would be when you're on the ozbargain frontpage.

    • 24hr store in Innaloo & Kelmscott as well + other stores in Wanneroo, Baldivis & Mandurah

  • can someone confirm if this price is valid at midnight tonight? don't wanna drive 20mins in the dead of the night and risk getting jacked for nothing :P

  • +1

Deal is live. I just went there.

Choc fudge brownie and maple syrup thingy are the only two flavours at innaloo

    • +1 for effrot.

Did you see any other ozbargainers hovering arount the icecream section?

      • Nobody was hovering at all. There were 3 people at the checkout when I went and all had icecream. There wasn't really anyone else in the store.

There was a fair bit of stock, but at max of 8 per person, it's probably still going to go quickly.

  • I went too, midnight and I'm buying ice cream!
There were quite a few people there buying it

    • +1

How much stock did they have?

      • Plenty left at Jandakot this morning. They were unloading 2 trolleys full into a big freezer. Only 2 flavors available as mentioned.

  • Hi all,
I rang up Kelmscott about 23:45 and she said she was changing the price over and that she had received a lot of calls over this. She said there are only 2 flavours, choc fudge brownie. And Maple Tree Hugger.
I just went to the Jandakot store (no one answered the phone). They have the exact same 2 flavours. Deal is alive :)

  • Busiest i have ever seen them at night (i usually go around 2am at one random day during the week) seemed to be quite a few people buying ice cream.

Not my favorite flavors but still better than other branded ice creams i find.

  • Jandakot stock expires on 21 Oct

    • 102115.

  • Both flavours are pretty good but I wouldn't say I'm a fussy ice cream eater. I'm just eating because they were a bargain :p

  • +1

Seems to be lots of stock at innaloo, can either get bulk pack of 8s or singles.

    • Thats good to hear, hope there's some left when I go later.

  • Yep, just came form jandakot store, whole freezer full, stocked up

  • +1

Lots of stock at the Wanneroo store. Just got back from there. Same as everywhere else, only the two flavours. Expiry date 15th October.

  • Plenty left at the Innaloo store

  • Went to the Wanneroo store at 7PM and still had plenty left in stock - bought myself 5. Thanks OP!

  • Went to Jandakot store last night at around 11PM and they were completely sold out. :( There was a sign on the freezer bin saying that there would be new stock in the morning. I asked the checkout girl about them and she said that Kelmscott store still had a few left. As it was on my way back, made a quick detour to Kelmscott and sure enough they had stacks of stock (2 fridges full). Woo hoo! Big thanks to OP for alerting us to this bargain ahead of time! :D …. now if only they could give us a couple more flavours mid week or something. :D

  • How is the Maple flavour?

    • its not so great

      • Yes it is. It tastes awesome and the chunks are great. Have been to Vermont and had maple syrup ice cream and this stuff is just like that taste.

        • my apologies

        • @jobler: Don't apologise. Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's.
There's no right or wrong answer when you're talking about taste.

        • @Max Power: True, with one in favour and one against, passed on the Maple flavour will try it when Ben & Jerry's has a free scoop day….

  • Bought some yesterday. Many other people with them in the trolley. Talked to a couple but no one had actually tried them yet :) I guess we were all cheapskates that would not pay the almost $25/liter full price. Edit Lots in stock last night at Kelmscott. Freezer was full but is located seprate from the main location of the ice cream (where there were a few boxes too.

  • 8 packs sitting there to grab? One hundred dollars of ice cream usually.

    Need a friend in WA.

In the future robots will replace the need. I await the day when no deal will be limited by the constraints of our states.

It would be a smart move for Ben and Jerry's to offer something like this across the nation. Call it BJ day and sell every flavour for $3 maximum of 10 tubs per person. Wouldn't be a master stroke. Establish production here and get jobs - RRP eventually falls to $5… even would be better for it. Give us some freedom and we'll even show you the health numbers McDonalds Australia drmands

  • In case anyone is wondering, the Innaloo store is out of stock and has signs up saying it will be back on Tuesday at the same low price.

    • Same goes for the Jandakot Store.

    • Back in stock as of 5:30pm (they were literally wheeling out the full pallets of ice cream to waiting customers). :)

  • Offer still on & freezer's full at Jandakot yesterday.

  • is the offer still on in spudshed Jandakot?
