    Thanks for the comments it does point out to me that i need to get back to the basics as not many people on ozbargain have ever heard of an ultrasonic aroma diffuser. I am used to people coming to our website who are already in search for an ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser as they have already found out what they are and are looking for the perfect one.

    What they do is a number of things the main one being - the aromatherapy benefit - add essential oils to the water and it diffusers it around the house. If someone were to have a cold for instance some eucalyptus diffusing overnight would help. If you think you may have mould or bacteria in your house you can put clove oil in the diffuser. Lavender helps calm and relax if someones having trouble sleeping. Their are many benefits with aromatherapy and i know it is not going to be everyones cup of tea but we find it works very well when we have a small discomfort like colds headaches etc.
    Releasing negative ions helps if you have lots of electrical devices running like tv's, computers and microwaves etc. These items release positive ions which negative ions combat. I am still new to it all and need to get my head around the technical stuff but they do help in a few ways around the home.
    These are also top quality we did sell a cheap line which was much more affordable $40-90 but we found so many problems with them that for us being a business it was damaging our bottom line and also our reputation hence we have discontinued these lines.

    The puzhen we have sold in small numbers and to this day touch wood have not had a return which we think is a very good track record.

    These also look stunnning and do have alot of features including - remote control - running time settings - different light modes.

    Puzhen as a brand is renowned for their very high quality in all their products, i will do a little more research and make some revisions in the coming days to this post with more information.

        The sound is seperate to the ultrasonic diffuser - The ultrasonic diffuser makes the mist vapour which carries the essential oil with the smell. The sound comes from speakers in the base of the diffuser. Hope this helps.

      Oh I totally get it now!

      This Puzhen is using ultrasonic ray to binds with the atomic proton of the water molecules to produce negative ions. Due to its lower boiling point, the negative ions are released to the air together with the beneficial olfactory-calming essential oils. So what's left is a higher concentration of positive ions which acts as a reducing agent at a cellular level. This reduces the harmful oxidizing properties of chemicals in the air so the bacteria DNA will acts a biological clock that regulates the electrical wave of your TV. A shorter electrical wave means greater cellular rejuvenation rate for our mood.
